ARE YOU READY?!?!
KILL THE HEAT!!! lets make it 10 in a row for the third time!

I don't like Buck's mask
I think Rip Hamilton's is the best.  Buck should have made the mask all white so it's kind of like Phantom of the Opera.

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 8:53 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

agreed.
matter of fact, i think they should give them hockey-goalie-style masks....maybe some flaming skulls and knives and snakes painted all over. i'm sure d-stern would love it.

so...
will shaq get all of Duanes calls tonight?

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 8:53 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

You never know
Shaq got fouled just now and I didn't see any real contact.  Those MVP shirts are nice...Mavgear.com had them up for sale already before this game.

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 8:56 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Indeed
Usually free shirts have ads on them, but these are sharp.

I've got a friend at the game so I'll try and steal hers.

by Wes Cox on Feb 22, 2007 9:22 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Not sure if I'll buy one
I haven't even bought the regular shirt jersey yet (yes, I know...shame on me).

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 9:43 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i own
way too much mavs gear... make sure and look for me on tv when the mavs come to atlanta on march 25

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 9:45 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

There is an ad on them
...at least the ones they handed out last night.  It's pretty small and on the lower back, so it's not a biggie.  I assume that the ones from mavsgear.com will be ad-free.

I dig the JET and J-Ho ones they're selling too.  Must resist....

by ufez on Feb 23, 2007 9:09 AM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

just to let everytone know
my parents are at the game tonight.. they got me a dirk for mvp shirt... kind of hard to get one from georgia...

by DitchThePlaybook on Feb 22, 2007 9:28 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Refurbished laptops are pretty cheap
I can't imagine life without my laptop and I've only owned it for a couple of years.  I love wireless.

Oh my God!
What a horrible free throw!

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 9:08 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I agree
Great hustle and energy from the bench so far.  I hope they just run away with this game.

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 9:38 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

jason williams
has the worst hair in the league

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 9:42 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Actually...
I'd give that award to Mike Miller.  And Chris Kaman before he got his hair cut.

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 9:48 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Is Tonight the Night..
for the Dirk Trip.... wait... ill keep my mouth shut...

KEEP UP THE GOOD PASSING!

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 9:53 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

How awesome would it be...
If Dirk got his first triple double tonight?  He already has 5 assists and 7 rebounds.  It'd be perfect, given the theme of tonight's game.

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 9:54 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Marie obviously
never played little league...

by BrodyV on Feb 22, 2007 10:09 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

marie
didnt you read my post above yours... it was meant to alert everyone but not to jinx... i hope we dont have you to blame for a dirk 8 asst performance haha

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 10:11 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

hmm
i dont' really see why you wouldn't get the blame for a jinx.

and this isn't something based on luck like a no hitter.  if he concentrates his game on passing he'll get it but he's really not paid to

by ab03 on Feb 22, 2007 10:15 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Nope
I took piano lessons which I quickly dropped in the hopes of learning to play drums.

by Marie on Feb 22, 2007 10:16 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I hate the piano
I want to take a baseball bat to every one that I see.

As Bob Ortegal would say
Back down to just eighteen. Better watch out.

by Wes Cox on Feb 22, 2007 10:22 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

the back
of joey crawfords neck creeps me out

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 10:25 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

yeah
talk some more about opposing players.

by ab03 on Feb 22, 2007 10:30 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Someone teach
Howard how to shoot without kicking his feet forward.

by Wes Cox on Feb 22, 2007 10:32 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

spoiled
We're all so spoiled.  Jesus.  If it weren't for the basketball purgatory I endured for years watching the Mavs lose game after game, I'd have to become a Hawks fan or something.

Dirk really is transcendental.  Amazing.

by BrodyV on Feb 22, 2007 10:36 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

HA
what an inbounds play!

MVP! MVP! MVP!

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 10:40 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Hopefully you're not as ugly
as Quinn.

I can't figure out if he looks like a goblin or an orc. (Did I just reveal myself to be an LoTR fan? Opps)

"I think Phoenix is fairly obviously the best team in the league right now." -John Hollinger, on January 24th

do you remember
his commercials.. i am employee #8... i make baskets

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 10:47 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Wow
This is amazing.  The Mavs have completely gotten inside the Heat's head.

by BrodyV on Feb 22, 2007 10:46 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

this is good to watch
the mavs don't dismantle teams enough.  its good to see them step on somebody's throat with dirk leading the charge.

by ab03 on Feb 22, 2007 10:51 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

btw
this will no doubt help those awful awful hollinger rankings.  too bad -  i wanted the mavs to linger at #2 a bit so hollinger would realize his formulas are ridiculous.

by ab03 on Feb 22, 2007 10:52 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

the heat
spares will probably cut the deficit to less than 20... and we will still be behidn the spurs

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 10:54 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

thats best case scenario
let them cut it down to 11.  then let hollinger explain to us how his formulas show the mavs didn't blow out the heat

by ab03 on Feb 22, 2007 10:55 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

my god
we might fall below the suns if we dont win by 15!

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 11:06 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

down to just 18 again...
i have been watching on tnt... neglecting my boys mike and bob

by jacksastud on Feb 22, 2007 11:06 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

this is seriously annoying
were going to win this game by 5 points

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 11:16 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

any one remember wayne simein?
stud from kansas.... isnt gettin minutes, is he injured or just sorry as a pro?

by jacksastud on Feb 22, 2007 11:21 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Little bit of both
He's been battling a salmonella infection for the better part of 3 or 4 months now.  That said, he still has yet to play more than 13 minutes in a single game.

by ufez on Feb 23, 2007 9:07 AM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Pat Riley
Needs to be forceably retired by David Stern.  This is basketball at its absolute ugliest.  Clutching, grabbing, freethrows, stalling, timeouts...  Ugh.

And it would make sense, if Dallas wasn't the top FT shooting team in the league.

by BrodyV on Feb 22, 2007 11:22 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

goodnight
screw the heat and hollinger

by zkmavz on Feb 22, 2007 11:22 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Blowout
Blowout game - 32 points difference at one time. What a game
