Mavs are the new Kings

Sorry Mavs, but that's what you guys are now.

The EXACT SAME as that super sweet sac town team that got over 60 wins and had the league's best record, but just couldn't stop the Kobe/Shaq show. But unlike those Kings who just couldn't overcome the skill and talent of the game's most talented duo, your worst enemies were yourselves.

I am a Warriors fan, but I honestly have to say, I am disappointed in the way you guys went out, because I love the game of basketball and I love watching pure skill. The Mavs, best team in the league, no monster egos, great in every category, teamwork and hustle at its finest. WHAT HAPPENED?

You didn't let a Kobe and Shaq work you. You didn't let a piss ant like Matt Barnes beat you, you beat yourselves. And that sucks. Because your team is better than San Antonio or Phoenix, and now one of those teams are going to be champions. You beat yourselves, not Baron Davis, not Don Nelson. And that's why you're the new Kings. And even though I'm a dubs fan, and I'm stoked, I feel like the father who's not mad at his son for lying and drinking or some crap, just disappointed.

Karma's a bitch Mavs. After the Warriors ended the Mavs' 17 game winning streak, Josh Howard was asked by a reporter if he saw any similarities between the Warriors and the Mavs. Howard gave a loud laugh and Jason Terry joined in because they thought the question was such a joke... Howard eventually answered NO, he didn't see any similarities.

Well guess who's the joke now. A joke of historical proportions. The 6th best record in league history, and soon to be the first number one seed to lose to an 8 seed in a seven game series. Sounds like a pretty good joke to me, huh Josh Howard?

Screw the Champagne, the Dubs will be drinking bottles of Mavericks tears, and it was just a karmic gift, because right now, the Mavs are beating the Mavs... and dammit, they deserve it.

RESPECT THE DUBS, 4th or 5th seed next season AT LEAST

I don't think you'll see any comments for a while. I'm pretty sure they'll be staying off the net. There are a lot of homers here who don't like being criticized. You'll probably get the same response i did: "Why don't u just leave our site, and stop rubbing it in". lol They're on life support now and it looks like Nellie is going to be pulling the plug very soon.

What are you expecting Maverick's fans to say. The Mavs haven't given us Mavs fans any ammunition to trash talk with. What's the point of getting into it if you can't win a trash talking fight.

You guys talk a lot now and you've obviously got a lot of pent up frustration now that you're back in the playoffs for the first time in a while. Just remember, if you're team chokes this series away, there is a lot of nasty words we'll be cramming down your throats and making you eat.

If the Warriors do win this series, do me a favor. Trash talk the Suns fans just as much as your trash talking us now. I'd enjoy the exchange very much.

you know 90% of what u say is right.....we have beaten our selves and we do not i repeat do not have the fire and desire that warriors have....it is hard to believe that my number one team and NBA's is headed this way...i really do believe Nelson took some of out confidence away but that is not an excuse....Tues it will all be said and done MAVS still have a chance it is very slim but I yes I do still BELIEVE in my Mavs, they have overcome before so they still have a chance!!!!

You called Barnes a piss ant?

That sounds pretty silly to anyone who knows what an integral part Barnes has played this season and moreso in the playoffs.

I actually wouldn't be too hard on the Mavs. They came out shooting the lights out, Dirk stepped up more than he had during the previous 3 games and the D confounded the Dubs at times. Throughout the season, the knock on the Mavs has been the ability to finish off games. It's not a new thing. (Though it is a leadership issue).

When they asked Monta after our loss he simply said they played better, so they beat us. Simple. The Mavs and their coach wanted to find every possible other reason for the Warriors "luck". And Mr. Toddy, I won't even comment on the bullshit chant. Your statement alone proves your argument false to everyone in the arena.

So take a page out of the Dub book, Mavs, stick out your chest, get a little snarl on your face (a la Webber or Payton), man up and let's go play game 5.

im sick of this "show some class" bullshit from everyone. its only the internet people say whatever the hell they want to say, deal with it.

2, the last time i checked the warriors won 3 games and the mavs lost 3 games as well. its not the mavs beating the mavs. its the warriors beating the mavs. the warriors are playing great and its their defense that is making the mavs play lousy offense and its there offense that is dominating. plus Nellie is a genious. The warriors are more aggressive and the mavericks best player falls down everytime he is bumped.

the mavs are sucking, but its mainly because Dirk is weak, and the warriors are playing smarter, better and more aggressively and they are dominating.
