terrible. for some ungodly reason austin is a fucking spurs town. so tomorow im gonna have to deal with some gray (yes gray) and black b.s.

i really dont know what to say, such a build-up for such a let-down... im going to bed with about 5 minutes left and a 20+ oakland lead. im dreaming of a miracle...

p.s. im really glad snoop dogg and woody harelson are at this game. they've been with that team since nellys first term

For the record

Austin is not too much of a Spurs town. Yes, from time to time you'll see silly little Spurs paraphenalia around town. This was mostly after their last championship run. It somehow lingers.

As a lifelong Austin resident I know plenty of folks who share your sentiment. But please understand that we're in the middle of the Texas basketball vortex without a team to really call our own. When Houston came up big in the mid-90s everybody was pulling for them. Then the Spurs more recently. I guess it depends on which way the wind blows here in central Texas.
