Game #45 Open Diary-Thread for Mavs - Celtics
Since Wes is absent and Jake hates open game threads. (j/k buddy - I'll delete this if you put something on the front page)....
No tables allowed in Diary, so no fancy logos or formatting for you!
Here's some relevant stuff:
No KG tonight, but Ray Allen looks like he'll go. As posted earlier by zkmavs.
Know your Boston Celtics. Your Celtics, not mine.
Green Bandwagon. The Celtics version of MavsMoneyball.
Dallas is a 2.5 point favorite Wes is in Vegas, probably should have consulted him on this one.....
GO MAVS!!!

Nice job making passes out of the double-teams.

Is this d-whistle commercial for real right now??
I really hope j5
The only thing that really bothers me is that ai and melo are starting. Had they had to compete with the rest of the reserves, I think maybe only one of them make it, but not both.
remember last playoffs
Maybe 4 months from now we will find out again that dampier has another injury we didnt know about and thats why avery left whos been our 12th man on our bench all year in the game for the entire 4th quarter... simply amazing how we let other teams dictate the way we play.
I do.

bench
I almost wish we would stick with 8 to 9 guys and let them get comfortable in playing with each other night in night out... its not like this bench is helping with our big guys minutes anyway... all it does is diminish our main role players flow (ie bass, stack diop) with the main guys...
Damp does so much for us... how he did not even play in that 4th quarter just amazes me.
Rondo had 6 offensive rebounds 6 Def boards...
Why do we (as fans) care and pay attention more to the obvious at times more so than the coaching staff does?
All important questions here.
Answers seem to be pretty simple given the way we play and the line ups we run 99.9% of the time work, and in what seems to be some of the biggest games we play in, we think that it'll be fun to change it up to things that make absolutely no sense.
Am I missing something here? I mean I have watched 95% of the games this year, has the line up we had in the 4th quarter of this game been efficient against another team at any other time this year? How many games have we won when diop and damp have combined for about 15 min... can anyone dig up this stat?
lineup changes
Yeah
Didnt stack hit a game winner last year in boston like the clipper game this year? It was a turn around baseline shot wasnt it?
