Looking good so far. Shooting pretty well, getting off pretty good shots.

Dirk went down
got up a little slowly, but appears to be nothing.
Kidd with a bunch of assists already, Wright has 11 points.

Kidd booms, sinks a three
Gooden “carrying” them, but getting his points off jumpers, which isn’t really him.

End of first quarter
36-22.
Kidd’s three was lucky, think he meant to lob it over to Damp but managed to get it in…

Start of second quarter
George and Bass heave up a couple of bad shots each, then Jet gets a steal and fast-break layup. Bass gets a Jet miss, puts it back with a dunk and the foul.
Been missing basketball too long I guess: JJ and Jet seem to be moving faster than normal.

Holy cow
A helluva facial by Bass, two-handed dunk, over about three guys.

Microwave on from Jet
making those jumpers now after starting a little cold.
Barea makes a nice contested layup.

Bass follows a missed JJ layup
beating the buzzer.
So far our entire offence looks rolling. The starters played the first quarter, then our second unit of Terry, Barea, Diop, Bass and George logged the entire second quarter. Shooting over 50%, 6 players with 7 to 11 points at the half. A lot of positives so far, apart from the 21 free throws the Bulls have shot.

Hmm
I wouldn’t even be watching this game if it weren’t for the fact that I live overseas and can’t seem to get a stream of the baseball.

I saw someone hit a homerun and assumed it was Burrell, because he hits in front of Howard usually.
And Howard was next.
I still spell Dirk, MVP.

Actually...
Think Phils lineup’s always been something like Rollins, Victorino, Utley, Howard, Burrell, whatever RF they have, Feliz, Ruiz, pitcher.
Mavs have steadied, 12 point lead now.

MAVS ON TV
Hey guys……Just wanted everybody to know that some (not all) of the games are being shown on the NBA League Pass channels on Dish Network. Both the Tuesday game and tonights game were on there. And apparently you don’t have to be signed up for League Pass to get them, since (so far) I haven’t been able to sign up…(Dish Network says it’s unavailable to purchase until Oct 30). The game tomorrow night does not seem to be showing up on these channels, but I suggest you check these channels the day of all the pre-season games to see if they are available as not all are. Just thought I’d pass the word!
GO MAVS!!!!

2-0
Good pre-season start against the Wizards and Bulls. I’m especially happy that Wright and Green seem to be clicking. That SG spot doesn’t look so bad anymore, with Terry as the first guard off the bench that might work quite well against most teams.
