K-mart isn't back yet

"It's as Ann as the nose on plain's face."

by Apoet on Nov 29, 2008 9:06 PM CST reply actions

Who doesn't?

I think they’re finally going to make that movie…Ron Howard and Hurwitz have gotten the ball rolling, I believe

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:13 PM CST up reply actions

I heard about the movie too

But I read somewhere that George Michael doesn’t wanna do it

by ptrck on Nov 29, 2008 9:15 PM CST up reply actions

Damn right he better

Everyone wants to do it but him. Maybe the Superbad success has gotten into his head or something…

by ptrck on Nov 29, 2008 9:16 PM CST up reply actions

He has a lot of projects lined up, that could be why

But I think he’ll do it…it’s the role that made him, the role that he plays in all of his movies, practically

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:19 PM CST up reply actions

I'm sure he is, he's pretty subtle

I think he’s great and will watch all of his work, but if he holds up this movie, then I’ll be the first to start hating

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:21 PM CST up reply actions

When you see him in interviews

he’s not that different. Not quite as awkward, but still seems like the same person.

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 9:21 PM CST up reply actions

Also

He’s still absolutely hilarious in interviews,

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 9:23 PM CST up reply actions

He is

I loved the promo spots he and Jason Bateman did together for Juno

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:24 PM CST up reply actions

He wants to do it

He wasn’t sure at first because he thought the series ended perfectly. And honestly I see his point.

He didn’t want to do it unless they had a good story, now he does after Ron Howard gave him the summary of what they want to do!

"It's as Ann as the nose on plain's face."

by Apoet on Nov 29, 2008 9:23 PM CST up reply actions

That's great news

I wonder where and when they’ll pick up…I mean, will GM and Maeby be in college? I need GOB back in my life and to hear Final Countdown!

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:26 PM CST up reply actions

Me, I need some Tobias Funke

Tony Wonder and Maggie Lizer appearances please. And that Kitty chick who always said “Say goodbye to these”

by ptrck on Nov 29, 2008 9:32 PM CST up reply actions

Tobias Funke

“Analrapist”

Love him!

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:33 PM CST up reply actions

Oh my God

Banger in the mouth had me in tears!

Michael: “We call it sausage”
Mrs. Featherbottom: “Sausage in the mouth!”

And then his whole song about frosting in your mouth or whatever, hahahaha

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:36 PM CST up reply actions

Was that the song

he sang out of nowhere when George nonchalantly recognized him?

by ptrck on Nov 29, 2008 9:39 PM CST up reply actions

I forgot what it was

The song was about taking medication and putting frosting in your mouth or something, haha

I think I’ll have to watch some episodes tonight, now that we’re all talking about it

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:41 PM CST up reply actions

You guys are forgetting about Barry

Easily the most underrated in the series.

"It's as Ann as the nose on plain's face."

by Apoet on Nov 29, 2008 9:39 PM CST up reply actions

How could we forget Barry

I forgot the episode, but I loved how he asked Michael for a tap on the fanny, and Michael just looks in disbelief, haha.

But I also loved Bob Loblaw

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:41 PM CST up reply actions

I love the mayonegg bit

Never fails to crack me up…Michael Cera is a genius

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:14 PM CST up reply actions

There we go

Dirk touched it and the three went in

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:18 PM CST reply actions

Travel on Dirk?

Geez…I thought it was a great move

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:25 PM CST reply actions

Damp and Bass

Their failure to just get a pass and score in one motion is really a head scratcher.

by ptrck on Nov 29, 2008 9:30 PM CST reply actions

Green is now sitting

I wonder if that’s the last we’ll see of him

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:32 PM CST reply actions

Barea in the game now

I wonder if he’ll have the same performance as last night’s

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:35 PM CST reply actions

Have a good game, can't join this one today. Go Mavs

There were some strange games today already, including Chris Duhon (22 assists) and the Knicks (82 points in the first half) going for new records.

by Norsktroll on Nov 29, 2008 9:36 PM CST reply actions

I watched that game

David Lee had career highs in points and boards

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:37 PM CST up reply actions

Nice.

I just got home and checked the game in time to see JET nail the three at the buzzer and that 2/3 of the game thread is about Arrested Development.

Good job, folks. Sorry I’m late…

by DitchThePlaybook on Nov 29, 2008 9:38 PM CST reply actions

Barea helped Salvatore up

Should have been a Kings player…I’m still bitter about the Finals, I suppose

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 9:48 PM CST reply actions

We're the Mavericks,

what else do you expect.

I have witnessed time and time again.

by srdmad on Nov 29, 2008 10:00 PM CST up reply actions

No kidding.

Seems like they’re missing Josh when they need something down low.

by DitchThePlaybook on Nov 29, 2008 10:01 PM CST up reply actions

I knew this lead wouldn't last

I just hope they build it back up again

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:01 PM CST up reply actions

Antoine Wright

looks like a groin strain or something.

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:02 PM CST reply actions

haha

he jumped too early.

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:05 PM CST reply actions

Geez!

Thank goodness Green got that back!

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:05 PM CST reply actions

No

“They be babyin him!”

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:07 PM CST up reply actions

Nah, Kings fans hate him too

Takes minutes away from JT

"It's as Ann as the nose on plain's face."

by Apoet on Nov 29, 2008 10:08 PM CST up reply actions

I didn't see it, haha

I was at a Magic game recently and finally saw a cool halftime act…that lady on the unicycle with the bowls

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:25 PM CST up reply actions

It seems like every game I go to

I get the guy who squeezes through a toilet seat.

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:26 PM CST up reply actions

I kind of want to see that guy

Though he makes me squeamish with the way he contorts himself

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:28 PM CST up reply actions

Ha!

No kidding. Who on earth keeps inviting that guy back?

For me, I seem to keep getting drumming-on-buckets guys.

Best halftime show ever? really?

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:31 PM CST up reply actions

I saw those guys once

The lamest act has to be this group called Man Band that is made up of former boy band members, and they were in a Orlando/Dallas game to film an episode of their reality show, which I don’t even know if it aired

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:31 PM CST up reply actions

Lamest is

man/woman duo changing clothes quickly.

My favorite halftime show is at the Cowboys games where they split the field into 4 quarters and play pee-wee games. It’s awesome because one team always has one kid who is faster than everyone else by an order of magnitude. It’s long play after long play.

by DitchThePlaybook on Nov 29, 2008 10:36 PM CST up reply actions

Wright

officially done for the night. left groin strain

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:29 PM CST reply actions

Sucks.

I thought he had some good burn of late.

by DitchThePlaybook on Nov 29, 2008 10:30 PM CST up reply actions

Weird

Loose ball foul and the basket counts. Don’t see that very often

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:30 PM CST reply actions

Argh

That shot by JJB might’ve gone in even if Bass didn’t interfere

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:46 PM CST reply actions

Terry again

With the shot at the end of the quarter

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:51 PM CST reply actions

they will blow it

i stand by it… ims till bitter from last night

by zkmavz on Nov 29, 2008 10:56 PM CST up reply actions

Oh, you guys

Let’s have a bit of faith…though I won’t breathe easily until the final buzzer :)

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 10:57 PM CST up reply actions

SAC will have to go on a

22-0 run. I doubt they even score 22.

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 10:58 PM CST up reply actions

Fine.

Rain on my unreasonable pessimism.

by DitchThePlaybook on Nov 29, 2008 10:59 PM CST up reply actions

yah

let us enjoy our misery

by zkmavz on Nov 29, 2008 11:00 PM CST up reply actions

George

Earning his money tonight…he’s playing well

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 11:03 PM CST reply actions

haha

J5 playing with his iphone on the bench…

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 11:09 PM CST reply actions

I missed it

I was watching the movie…thanks for telling us about it, I haven’t seen this in years

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 11:10 PM CST up reply actions

Me either

it seems like the sequel is the one that’s always on.

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 11:11 PM CST up reply actions

I think I've seen that one

But I don’t remember what it’s about. The first is the best, like with the Austin Powers trilogy.

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 11:13 PM CST up reply actions

The second one

is where he goes to Africa. Disappointing.

www.mavsmoneyball.com

by Wes Cox on Nov 29, 2008 11:16 PM CST up reply actions

I'm totally cracking up

I forgot about the part in Shady Acres with Ace wearing the ballet skirt and doing the slow motion stuff

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 11:21 PM CST up reply actions

I appreciate the effort.

but can we stop diving head first into the floor for two more minutes?

by DitchThePlaybook on Nov 29, 2008 11:13 PM CST reply actions

Indeed.

Devean George had some good minutes too. 26 minutes off the bench and +22.

by DitchThePlaybook on Nov 29, 2008 11:19 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah

He just needs to be more consistent

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 11:21 PM CST up reply actions

We don't play until Tuesday

Against the Clippers. Seven in a row at home, time for some home wins

by Marie on Nov 29, 2008 11:19 PM CST reply actions
