Mhm, I see the Clippers pre-game guys
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 2:33 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I wonder why that is
I’m getting Dallas commentators and Dallas ads
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 2:34 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Gerald Green is starting

Let's keep the Clippers winless today, please
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 2:33 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Second that
And Green, please don’t mess this up
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 2:35 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I saw some guy with a Lakers shirt on
Wrong team, dude…I hate it when people wear jerseys/shirts for a team that’s not even playing
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 2:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
They probably do that thing
In which they don’t sit until the team makes their first basket
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 2:45 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Geez
Dirk was so slow to pick up that loose ball
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 2:44 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
He's been slow and jumping not as high since the season started
kinda bothers me
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 2:45 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
At least they are good shots

Geral freaking Green

Green finally takes a bad shot
www.mavsmoneyball.com
by Wes Cox on Nov 9, 2008 2:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
They are the "Triple Davis" team :)
Baron, Ricky, Paul.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 2:53 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
A lot of jumpshots
They should take advantage of the Clippers’ turnovers too
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 2:53 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Not a good move by Green there
With the And 1 dribbling
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 2:56 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
It frustrates me that they're swinging the ball, gets it on the post, yet no one makes a constant effort to cut. Whatever happened to motion?
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:00 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
They forgot it after pre-season
They do revert back to their old ways…I’m sure it takes time to get used to.
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:01 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I know, but how more obvious can it be?
Props to Dirk for sensing it and making a backdoor cut when Damp was idle there with the ball
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:02 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Which movie was Dirk's favorite? Argh I can't believe I missed it.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 3:03 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
It's a great movie
I think my favorite part is the ribbon dancing and when Will Ferrell got shot with that tranquilizer dart
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:06 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Aw
It’s still not like that one game when Kidd sat on his own kid and he cried. They’ll probably boo Dirk now…it was an accident
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:04 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
But if you're the kid's parents
I know you wanna have a great view of the game, but you have little kids with you…
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:06 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I don't think kids should be allowed to sit that close
Too dangerous
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:07 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Lol at the little girl, she had a shirt that says "obama sucks".
Did Dirk do it on purpose?!
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 3:06 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I think it said Obama Rocks
www.mavsmoneyball.com
by Wes Cox on Nov 9, 2008 3:07 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Diop sucks!
What the hell, man! If you’re that tall, you better freaking make it when you’re that close! Do what you’re getting paid to do!
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:07 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
They're just lazy
They knew it was a foul. It’s just that the Clipper girls were already on the floor. The inconvenience!
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:11 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah,
I think I might watch Casino Royale tonight.
www.mavsmoneyball.com
by Wes Cox on Nov 9, 2008 3:11 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I loved that one
I think Daniel Craig is great as Bond.
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:11 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I forgot how good Casino Royale was.
I won’t be able to watch QoS in the US as weird as that sounds.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 3:12 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I'll be on my way to england on friday.
is that irony? it is right?
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 3:13 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Lucky
I’ll go to Europe eventually…it’s like a dream of mine. Right now I’m saving up for a new Macbook, though
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:14 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Vista really is that bad isn't it.
I’m planning on buy an iMac in January.
www.mavsmoneyball.com
by Wes Cox on Nov 9, 2008 3:15 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I don't know why my brother put Vista on his laptop (which I'm currently using since mine is hopeless)
I think he’s going to put XP back in, but I just need a new computer. And yes, Vista sucks…it crashes for no reason at all.
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:17 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Are you having problems with it as well?
It looks pretty, but that’s about it, really
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:19 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
No, not much problems.
But sometimes when I unfold it, I find out it has restarted itself. Other than that, it gets the job done.
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
That's happened to me before
Restarted for no reason
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah, so sometimes I just leave it unfolded.
Waste of power, but at least it won’t erase my work.
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:23 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I have Vista on my Mac
And use it as rarely as possible.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 3:19 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Since a lot of you guys have Macs...
I was wondering if it was difficult switching from a PC to that…I’ve always used PC
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
It will probably take you some time to get used to it
Windows and menu systems work a little different. But I wouldn’t use something else at home at the moment. Much more stable, less to worry about,… They provide good switching guides, most data can be reused, most apps are available, with Bootcamp as a fallback for the few that are not.
I hope Windows 7 will be better for work, the way Vista was supposed to be.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 3:25 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
It's a fun little adventure.
It’s not difficult.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 3:26 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Do you use bootcamp?
I have parallels on mine, with xp.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 3:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
VMWare
But I tried out Parallels and Bootcamp. All works fine.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 3:22 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
And they don't show it there?
I recently travelled to where a big part of it was shot.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 3:15 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Oh yeah, it's showing there. I just wanted to see it here.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 3:16 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
It would probably
cost like $25 US to see it
www.mavsmoneyball.com
by Wes Cox on Nov 9, 2008 3:17 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Gordon has a beautiful shot
Have to admit that.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 3:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Stream
Argh! There’s no stream of this game in justin.tv! They’re streaming two knicks games. C’mon the knicks!!! hahaha Any1 can send me a link to an active dallas stream? Thanks a bunch
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 3:23 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Thanks
It’s audio but thanks a bunch better than nothing hehehe
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 3:29 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Wow, they only do audio there now?
I guess the NBA caught on to them
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:30 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yea
Maybe haha! but its ayt haha il find a stream somehow!
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 3:35 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
That raptorsnation site last year was awesome
too bad it’s gone now
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:37 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I used to go to Dewsaw.com
I think that was taken down too
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:38 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yes, that was a good one too.
I used that, then they took it down, then raptorsnation.
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:39 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Wow, Kaman totally fouled Terry on that drive
www.mavsmoneyball.com
by Wes Cox on Nov 9, 2008 3:29 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I haven't heard anything about it
Have any of the media outlets noticed? No one’s asked him about it
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:34 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Dirk
He used to be practically automatic from the line
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Pretty mediocre first half, but they are hanging in there
Why should the Mavs be the first to lose a game against the Clips :)
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 3:39 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Is it just me or
The mavs just need one major trade and they’re contenders again
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 3:42 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
If it weren't for that stupid Clippers CEO
Corey Maggette would have been playing here. He’s the kind of player we sorely need.
I have a feeling, though, that the Mavs will make a trade towards the end of the year.
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:46 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yea
Im pretty sure we’ll give away bass, stack, and another player (maybe terry or damp or even green)
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 3:47 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Just wait til after Dec 15
when we can finally get rid of the likes of JJB, George, Wright, Diop, and whatnot.
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 3:51 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Ugh, George
I’d be happy to see him go. Not sure what Avery saw in him.
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 3:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Worse yet, I have no idea why Donnie and Cuban agreed to pay him more after screwing up the original Kidd trade
Cost Cubes a cool $11 mil. Who wouldn’t want to pay him more money after that happened?
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 4:00 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Unfortunately top management disagrees
Rebuilding and big trade are no no words in Mavsland.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 3:46 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Ouch
The commentator thinks LAC can win, “These are not the Mavericks of old” Dang!!!
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 3:56 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I would be fine with him if he cost like $5M. Problem is, he costs more than double.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 4:01 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yup, that's why.
He’s like the Wade phillips of centers.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 4:04 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
jumpshooting
coz they keep trying jumpshots but i saw him drive to the hole two times and missed
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 4:01 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I thought we were supposed to be a fastbreaking team?
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:03 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
That's what I thought too
So much for that! I think we were only a fastbreaking team during the pre-season
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:05 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
they show wade
damn the dude who destroyed us!
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 4:05 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Good thing I switched to the Knicks game
The Knicks have a better record than us…how sad
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:08 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
The Barkley spot fits...
My grandmother could drop 30 on them Mavs.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 4:07 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Too many jumpshots again
I feel like I’m always repeating myself
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:08 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
JJB in the game now
And Stack too…can it get any worse?
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Damn it!
What the hell is this, hot potato? Hang on to the ball for dear life!
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I want to see the old "no way we are losing this game" Dirk again
The kind that showed up at the end of last regular season, and could so often be seen in 2006.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 4:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
That was the Dirk who took it to the Spurs in Game 7
And dropped 50 or so on the Suns in the West finals
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:10 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
That guy is awesome.
It’s like Super Saiyan 2.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 4:11 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Only if it's Gohan
He’s always been my favorite
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:13 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He did defeat Cell using his emotion.
Same thing Dirk did in the ’06 playoffs.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 4:14 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Did Dirk just wet his hair (or what's left of it)?
That usually means “Game F’n On” or that translated to German
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:12 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Green
Really going after those boards…I love it
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
That On The Border restaurant looked pretty good
We don’t have that here
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:16 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Who does Ricky Davis think he is
Step off, sucker
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Strong acting skills by Dirk there
It was a foul, no need to fall down
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I take that back
he was going after the ball
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
How long has Dirk been in the game?!
Give him a breather.
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 4:24 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
How can Bass and Diop screw it up down low?
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:30 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Didn’t he have his own shoe and campaign? Boy that’s long ago.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 4:38 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Nice going, those Mavs
Terry with the adorable smile and the Fourth Quarter Man hand signal
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:34 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Dirk must be happy about this
He gets to rest and the game is close again
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:37 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Look at that idiot Davis smirking
I hate it!
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:42 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
If the clippers win
It may be just proof that it’s not the coach’s fault last year but its a problem with the personnel
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 4:45 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
This is so lame
Don’t flame out like this…it’s the Clippers, for crying out loud!
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:45 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Pathetic!
Leave a guy open for a dunk…what else can you do wrong?
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Ugh, we always make bad teams look like good.
Come on Mavs, gimme four 3’s in a row. You can do it!
by bruce182 on Nov 9, 2008 4:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I am embarrassed
Now we go home and Kobe’s gonna drop 40 on us
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Utah lost to the Knicks
Not a good day for the favorites.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 4:52 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Wow, someone is taking it to the basket
Am I seeing things? This really needs to happen more often
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:54 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Wouldn't have been nice if it happened, I dunno, 40 minutes ago.
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:54 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I know, right
Instead of in late game, desperate situations
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:55 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I'd be jacking up 3s now
it’s the only way to make a win possible
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:54 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
He reminds me of the Cheshire Cat
Only not as cool
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Oh my God
Cuban is in attendance, isn’t he? He’s still happy with this team?
by ptrck on Nov 9, 2008 4:57 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Apparently
He’s the one who said we don’t need a backup point guard
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 4:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
dump stack even bass
trade both of em for a failry decent PG, then join the mcdyess sweepstakes. It aint rocket science but it’s logical
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 4:59 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
That didn't work as expected. Oh well, the rotation needs to get better and all stars back in top form.
Have a nice day everyone.
by Norsktroll on Nov 9, 2008 5:02 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
too bad we have to wait til after December to make a trade using our newly signed or resigne players
Damn trade rules!
by slickd on Nov 9, 2008 5:05 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
The thing is, why sign them in the first place
Guys like George, then spending money on Diop when we probably could have gotten someone better
by Marie on Nov 9, 2008 5:18 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
wow. didn't watch the game. thank goodness.
oh man, what am i gonna do with this team…?
