WHATS GOING ON WITH DALLAS NOT PLAYING GREEN???!!!
What the hell is rick carlisle doing to this kid!? He starts him plays him for 5 min and then sits him for the rest of the game???? Gerald Green is a great offensive player and has the ability to be a good defender cause hes so athletic. If you are going to help him develope why are you not leaving him in....whats the point of even starting him. I think this is even worse than not playing him at all, you are just bringing him down...starting him and taking him out and putting awful players in. He can be the future of this franchise and a top player in the leauge he needs a fair shot. Something needs to change, I dont like what they're doing to Gerald and just how Carlisle is coaching in Dallas, 8-8 they're much better than this!

Gerald Green
doesn’t exactly have the track record to be called a great offensive player and a good defensive player. At this point, he is an athlete with potential. I don’t have a problem with him not playing since JJB has been playing well lately and Wright was as well before his injury.

So I’m not going to say anything at all.

Green's gotta earn it
just like any other player not named Dirk, Jason or Josh.
He’s still very young, growing and learning, and this team is finally headed in the right direction with Carlisle doing exactly what frustrates you…
Case in point: Diop. There was an article about Diop finally realizing what he has to do to get consistent minutes, then all of a sudden, I didn’t see him play for what seemed to be 3 games in a row (I’m sure he did, it just seemed that way). It’s happened with Wright, Green, Diop, Damp, JJ…and it will keep happening as long as we win this way and nobody sets a consistent standard (that’s Green’s biggest problem…consistency)

I hope Carlisle remembers this technique when Josh Howard returns.
