"I'm very fortunate that I've made a lot of money in this league, even though I've never really played for money. I love the sport. I love this organization. Obviously, I want to win. I won the MVP, and individually, there's nothing really left but winning a championship.
"If that means I have to play for less money, it's all possible. It's all open."

I'm repeating myself...
..but it’s worth repeating:
This franchise will probably go quite a long time before finding another player of Dirk’s caliber. However, I contend that they will never, ever find another player of Dirk’s caliber as a player AND as a person. He’s spoiling us.

What I'm wondering is when
he says less money, how much is he talking about? 10 million a year, 5?
I have witnessed time and time again.

jthig32……Couldn’t agree with you more. Dirk is a class act all the way around. He ALWAYS has been. He makes me proud to be a Mavs fan.

If i was Mark Cuban,
I would do everything I could to get Dirk a championship. Be smart about managing what happens to the team and bring in the support or whatever it takes to get our German that ring.
