At Best Buy using the new Macbook

Instead of Christmas shopping for other people…thought I’d drop by to see how we’re doing and we’re down two! Granted, the Hawks have improved over the years, but I really thought we’d have the lead. According to the boxscore, Dirk is the only one in double figures, but Bass and Terry seem to be doing well from the bench.

Okay, I’m out…hope to see a good result when I get home. Damn it, I really want to walk away with this Macbook!

Since apparently it's Minimalist Night in here

I’ll comment only on comment-able stuff, like..

J-Kidd trying to follow up the missed JJ layup with a dunk! He failed, but how about that?

I see we're leading now

Okay, I’m really out.

I'm slowly getting used to the multi-finger functions on the track pad

I love that track pad; it’s huge and it’s smooth. If it wasn’t the holidays right now, I might’ve bought a Macbook already. I have to wait until after the new year.

You know.....

I don’t need a bunch of yards from Choice. Just be able to pick up the blitz.

I do like how Choice is quick to the hole. no dancing, North and South.

Gotta be honest

I wanted him traded on the 15th. Until, of course, THIS. He’s starting to become consistent, contributing NBA player.

That play by J.J. was sick....

Shows what someone with a ton of confidence can do for your team.

What the hell happened to Gerald Green??

At the beginning of the season, I thought he was going to be something special for us.

I had to check his status to make sure he wasn’t injured or something. His minutes have been cut big time.

Give it to Dirk and set a good pick or pass quick three times

Dribbling doesn’t work against a 2-3 zone

i thought the east was the better conference

all i hear is that the west should fear the east now

The East has a better head-to-head record against the West this season

but as Paul Coro points out, that’s due in large part to the suck (my word, not his) of the West’s bottom-feeders against the East.

Maybe worth considering, maybe not.

Based on the reactions...

We blew or nearly blew a big lead? At least we won! If it wasn’t for that Lakers loss, we would have won, what, nine in a row? Sounds like Barea played well again. I’ll have to read the recaps. Thanks for the entertaining comments!

My delayed reactions after reading the recap on DMN

1. There were MVP chants for JJB? They are probably not undeserved, with the way he’s been playing the last few games.
2. Barea had 20 points after halftime…wow!
3. Double double for Dirk…yay! I’m really happy with the effort he’s putting into rebounding more.
4. This bastardized lineup (Carlisle’s words) is really working out well for the Mavs. How will Josh’s impending return affect it?
5. 24-8 run by the Hawks to cut the lead to 1…were they just unstoppable or did we have a lapse in defense/go cold from the field?
6. Bass had 10 of his 14 points in the 4th…that’s awesome.

Where the eff did Barea come from?

He’s playing like a poor man’s Jason Terry after barely getting off the bench the last few years. Or is that an unfair/inaccurate assessment on my part?

dear lord

2 games and a half ago i was praying for starbury to be released… jj baraea… where did this come from…. its unreal… keep it up lil buddy… go mavs… whew

I think it's playing alongside Kidd

And a vote of confidence not just from Carlisle but also his teammates. It’s a total surprise…I wonder how long he can keep it up.
