Around SBN: 2012 NBA All-Star Game Starters Announced

Yao is out

KRIV-TV in Houston and The Houston Chronicle are reporting that Yao has a stress fracture in his left foot and the Rockets are expected to announce he will have season-ending surgery later Tuesday.

What a blow to a team that quite honestly looked like they could beat anybody in the west right now. Yao was by far the most dominant center in the NBA over the past two months and he was the only player I was really unaeasy about our front line having to go up against. You never want to see another player get injured, but him going down just made the Mavs playoff outlook seem a little bit brighter.
