Is Mavsmoneyball dying?
I know the team sucks right now...but I'm just wondering where the posts have gone?
One-line diaries are prohibited on Mavs Moneyball. Give your diary a bit more thought, then give it another shot. If you have nothing to add to your proposed diary, then it probably belongs as a comment under another appropriate thread.
The minimum is 300 characters.

Yah
Because of this the site never build up any momentum and ends up being so dead.
It's a shame, cause I'd love a place to discuss the Mavs tantamount to what the Rangers have at Lonestarball.
But it is what it is.

If my opinion matters...
If you don't see what you like here, post it yourself in the diary. Search the internet and post some news or something you think is relevant.
Just because a forum has a lot of traffic doesn't mean that you're going to get some quality information about the Mavs or NBA. Generally, more forum traffic just means you have to wade through a bunch of crap to read something insightful.
That's one of the aspects of a online community - everyone can contribute by adding to the discussion. If you don't like it, I'm sure Wes will give you your money back.

I'm not trying to sound condescending.
And, no, it's not unreasonable to expect daily posts, since that's the norm. I'm just suggesting that this site's not exactly like all the others that see 10 posts a day on the front page from a dozen different contributors, and I'm okay with that. It's sort of 'quality over quantity'.
Wes and Jake do a pretty good job, in my opinion, of filtering through the noise and providing some good insight on a project that's not an occupation for either guy. There's no need to go and bust chops because there's not new text on the front page every couple days.
Regarding the other SBNation blogs, I personally don't see the value in blog posts where every third post is 'not too much out there today...' but I suppose that's just a personal preference.

That's very dumb
The fact of the matter is that if the blogger doesn't blog, the other parts of the site decay.
I just... your logic is so stupid I'm having a hard time typing a reasoned response.
It's like the time my college roommate tried arguing that Michael Jordan was a better player when he came back with the Wizards, it was just that league had gotten so much better. I couldn't even respond... I just sat there saying, "You don't really believe that. You can't really believe that. That's so stupid."
"Oh yah, then prove me wrong."
But I couldn't. What he said was so stupid I could only mutter, "There's no way you really just said that."

Ladies and Gents
The Main Page poster doesn't have to be the only person generating content. (And for those who aren't aware I post on StR.)
That being said I do enjoy the content on this site as it's generally insightful. Content just doesn't come from one person I might add.

I think
After the last week or so of basketball, I've gone from being an AJ defender, to solidly in the Fire Avery camp. He has no fucking clue what he's doing. Guys responded to him simply because he wasn't Nellie. Now they've completely tuned him out, and with damn good reason.
I want Del Harris coaching this team.
