J-Ho Pissed me off last night

Remember when analysts used to praise J-ho because all his points were "hustle points" and you never had "run plays for him"  and "if he scores 20 the mavs are going to win because it means their effort and energy were through the roof."

Now the only way he can score is off an iso play that is called specifically for him.  He doesn't crash the offensive boards.  He no longer has his "pogo-stick" reflexes to put back his own missed shots at the rim.

My biggest gripe with him is on defense though.  He doesn't help, he plays with his hands, and he is lethargic.  It sucks about his personal issues, but be a pro, leave that shit at home.  I think he has read too many of his press clippings and now that he is getting paid he is happy to loaf around jacking up 20 footers like McGrady.

Something's not right with him.
I agree. Makes me wonder if the back injury isn't worse than advertised.

I saw what seemed to be a couple missed rotations last night, too. Not that it would have mattered much they way Houston was shooting.

They are still wrapping/heating his back
A LOT when he's on the bench.

Still, he's looked more like Moe Ager than Scottie Pippen lately...

Maybe we should have trade him and Harris
for Kidd.
I know how to spell Dirk, M-V-P

Not for Kidd!!
We should have traded Devin for Kidd, but also traded Josh for Gasol...That's what Memphis originally required for him (from the Mavs anyway) then LA got him for change!

He could have messed his back up
a lot worse than we really know.  The facts are he has to play now or the mavs dont go to the playoffs.  I don't think any true mavs fan is worried that J-Ho is done playing great basketball.
