Dirk practiced for 45 minutes yesterday, and if he feels OK after another practice today he'll suit up against Golden State.

"He shot a few shots ... made a few, missed a few, and he moved OK," Johnson said. "We'll know more when we see how he recovers and once he goes through [today's] shootaround. He was able to go through some contact. But is he ready to play in a game? We'll have to wait and see. But he felt pretty good."

Avery says he has some concerns about bringing Dirk back against a quick team like Golden State, but here's a prediction ------ Dirk starts tonight.

I'm thinking he starts too. It's a home game, so maybe it will get the crowd pumped (if that's possible in American Airlines Arena!!). But GS is coming off a game in San Antonio last night in which they got thumped, so they'll go all out tonight as they need a win. We need to morale boost big time. I hate when Dallas plays Golden State. We always look like clueless assholes out there when playing them.

when we completely dominated them. Sure hope that team shows up tonight (minus Devin and Diop, of course).

If we were playing at home at the American Airlines Arena, we'd be the Miami Heat.

And we came close to beating GSW the other day without our best player. I say even with a 50% Dirk playing tonight, we win by double digits.

Also look for Damp to get a shitload of PT tonight.
