Dallas 112
Warriors 104
Pre-game predictions?
YEA!!!!!!!!
Calling it right now...
why cant we
Its early I know... and we ALWAYS seem to build these leads and let them go... but damn it seems good to see this team play with passion again.
I was thinking the same thing...
I'm gonna relax until the 2nd half...
But it is awesome that Baron just got his 2nd foul!!
Offensive rebounding..
Just knew Nellie was going to send the double at B.Bass the way hes played them this year.

I would love to watch
Anti-Mavs Bias fr. Ex-Mav ESPN Analysts
Just now Mashburn and Stephen A. Smith think the Mavs won't make it to the playoffs. This almost certainly guarantees they will make it.
That's why I normally stick to KTXA 21 as well.
Monta...
I AM LOVIN THIS HUSTLE!!!!!

A Great Win to Build On
OK, now that the losing streak is broken against winning teams let's get on a nice roll into the playoffs. Maybe we're doing it the right way this year -- play mediocre when it doesn't count (although in the West this season every game seems to count!) and then turn it up for the final 2 weeks and into a long playoff run....
As many have already said, this is the Mavs team and style we were waiting to see.
JET was back tonight, and if he and Howard can keep up these types of performances and help Dirk and Kidd out there's reason to be excited. Stack also gets a week's rest so things may start to be falling into place, or I'm just overreacting over the biggest win so far.
Kool-Aid is back
I watched the second half in a bar, and am just starting it again so I can actually pay attention to what really was going on.
Great game from what I saw, emotions and energy were definitely high from what I saw, and could not have come at a better time. I seriously hope this continues. Even after the first quarter, we were only up 4 or 5, but I the energy the team was playing with was something we hadnt seen all year IMO.
But in breaking this down, how much of this win was us playing better vs GS just missing open shots? I think in all fairness a little bit of both happened, but I will hold that thought for now until I look at the 2nd half a little closer.
I thought our D was great

Ric Bucner
Here's jewniorballa's report from the game last night (a GS fan mind you)
He saw my Dubs jersey and said "I can't answer that here in Dallas" and as he walked away he turned back and said, "I'm a Suns fan" lol
You heard it here first Rick Buker = Suns fan
If this is infarct true, which I really did happen... It just adds another reason why I try and get most of my info from other sources than ESPN, and why when I am at home in Dallas or anywhere else that might have a different broadcast other than the ABC/ESPN or TNT crews, I will always watch the "Joe's" over the "Blatant Idiotic Annalists composed of fans from 2-3 teams in the league."
Of the big networks who cover/report the NBA games nationally, you have doug collins (TNT) PTI guys, Tim Legeler, and Ric Bucner practically working for the Suns (note that Kerr made this list last year, but the suns went ahead and made it official this last off-season), and MOST of the rest (the exception being Steven A who only swings on teams from the NY area) barry, marc jackson, Barkley, Skip bayless, Miller, Jalen Rose, Hollinger, Patrick, etc. are all paid by the NBA to support the Sterns. Then you have the leftover bandwagon guys jumping on either the Lakers or Celtics fan base.
Obviously I'm kidding about getting paid by those respective teams and the NBA, but some of these guys are just blatantly single minded when they announce games or write articles. It's like some of them are beat writers or something for those teams.
Granted the same could be same about Stein and us, but I'd beg to differ that he probably covers us and the Suns about the same... I'd say about 80% of his reporting is about one of these two teams.
I really wish the NBA League pass deal would move to all HD games, provide feeds for all the local teams, and provide someone who purchases their package a "preference" in what feed they get, I'm just so damn sick of hearing Steven A open his damn mouth and bag this team because (and I know I might be out of bounds on this, but it is just so blatantly obvious that he MOSTLY swings on teams with black superstars) a White superstar on it and a team that he knows nothing about except the Box scores he reads in the mornings following this their games... tell me how in the hell with GS being now 2 (technically 3 with the tie breaker) games back from us we are goin to miss the playoffs? We dont even need to go into about what idiot things Barry said last night.
I heard that Galloway interview too!
Part of it
Also, The fast break, aggressive style of offense really kept the Warriors from harassing us. We didn't settle for jump shots. Seemed like for the first time Kidd really had the offense following his lead/tempo. There was no real way the Warriors could get organized on D in time. When we did go halfcourt, ball movement was solid.
I guess this is why we traded for J.Kidd!
The Mavs are finally starting to gel. I don't know if we have turned the corner yet, but I do think that if Dirk can stay healthy we'll have a good shot of playing at a high level by the time the playoffs start. IF we make the playoffs...
i liked this from gsom thead
