Over/Under...
Josh Howard 2nd half points – 9.5
Chris Paul points and assists – 27.5 and 10.5
Tyson Chandler lobs – 4.5
Enough with all of this Josh/pot talk
Isn’t that old news anyway? The media are the ones making it a distraction, not the team or Josh.
No kidding
He said this stuff before the playoffs started. Nobody cared until ESPN picked it up.

0 points in the paint
for NO in the first quarter. Good sign.
Come on
No ball movement with this lineup, no attacking the basket. They’re making Pargo look like an All Star out there.
They're being more aggressive here
Which is great to see, because the third quarter is usually when they fold.
I hope our guys
can make this young NO team loose its composure.
It'd be nice if we could make some free throws
We could stretch this to 15 by the 4th if we take advantage of being in the penalty this early
Initial Impressions
The Hornies logo sucks the hind teet.
Lokks like they stole it from Hampton Inns.

Dirk is moving really well tonight...
Ankle looks like it’s holding strong. He’s really active defensively…
Off topic
But what is that tall building with the green lights that they always show in the Dallas downtown (if it’s downtown) shots? I’ve always wondered about it.
Cuban's Con-Tower
The Owner’s Lair.

I loved Erick Strickland though
Love seeing Bradley in old clips. What a joke that whole experiment was…
This isn't relevant
but for some reason your comment reminded me of one of my favorite basketball jokes of all time…”Big Country” Brian Reeves!...or was it Cherokee Parks?

Just got home...
skipping watching the tivo version of this… picking up at the beginning of the 4th…
I wonder
if Josh and Devin like to smoke together
Seriously
I hate how they keep bringing this up. No one talks about Melo’s DUI and that’s worse! He wasn’t even punished for that, which bothers me to no end.
Melo's wasn't an ESPN family of networks interview

Yeah
I don’t think this story is a problem for Josh, because if it is he will just go home and dump his problems in the ashtray
exactly
Physicality in the course of a game is great. Extracurriculars in a sure-win are what makes the NBA look twice. It’s not 1995 anymore.

Damp
wow I can’t believe it. He actually put effort into that shove. Too bad he doesn’t put effort into his game like that, or we might have a center.
damp
just bc he doesnt put up huge numbers for us every night, he still plays a huge part in our team. Just look at last years playoffs when avery didnt play him/he had that shoulder injury. He does a lot of little things that dont show up in box score. (screens, tip outs, defense on the primary oppenents big men).
He’s not dominate by any means, but the guy is just as important as any other starter (other than dirk) on this team if they wanna win.
Great game, guys
More of a team effort this time around. I hope this carries over to Game 4. Paul and West won’t always have off nights.
This win lies with Avery
As critical as we are of him, I have to admit when he comes through for us. Line up change was great, putting dirty on chandler, and damp on west was great. No herpes and jones sightings tonight… I can live with 15 min between allen and george… It appears as though stacks struggles continues, wish he would come alive one game for us… but at least Avery is recognizing when he is sucking and is staying away from him. Again a 8 man rotation in the playoffs is key for us IMO. IF this type of coaching continues, avery may save his job after all… with a new offensive scheme next year as well.
I think we also got a lot of calls going our way this game… especially in the third. That definitely helped us win this one.
