Stat of The Game: Dirk's Second Half

MinPts Reb AstFGM-AFTEff
Dirk Nowitzki 24 19 10 5 5-11 8-9 47

Fantastic game by Dirk tonight.  For the series he now sits at 30.0ppg, 11.3rpg, 3.7apg, 1.7bpg, and he's shooting 52%.

Dirk had been good this series, but tonight was basically a "must-win" and he came up with his best game of the entire season.  I guess what I'm saying is, thank you Dirk.

I thought he finished 32/19/6 with 2 blocks and 9/10 free throws.

Oops, sorry

Failed to notice it said “second half” in the title…apologies.

Dirk did finish with 9 of 10 from the free throw line.

Plus, 5 field goals is a minimum of 10 points and 10 free throws is 10 points, which equals a minimum of 20 points and you say he had 19.

I still know how to spell Dirk, M-V-P

Once again

Dirk goes under the radar when he carry’s his team… and once again Nash goes under the radar when he DOESN’T.

But when the Mavs fall, Dirk is the whipping boy in the Media and NBA… and when the Suns have success, Nash is the greatest PG since Magic.

“NBA…. Where hating Dirk happens.”

If Dirk doesn't win a title,

he will be a choker, if Nash doesn’t, he will still be great. I think people are venting their anger of Cuban onto Dirk. Not until Nash left Dallas did people talk about him being so great.
