Singleton (AKA Damp 2.0) this year's Brandon Bass?
Pretty interesting read. Suprisingly he has been one of the best players on the Mavs summer league team... well, at least yesterday he was with 17 points and 8 boards. I wasnt all that impressed with him the first game against the Clips, but then again, I wasnt really impressed with anyone else from that game either.
At 6'8", 230 lbs, he's seems to be athletic enough that he could play SF for us. He averaged almost 21 points and 12 boards a game over in Europe last year. Maybe he needs to be added to the list of guys who could see some starts for us this year? What do you guys think about him?

Too early to tell, for me
I like Rhodes, however. I’ll watch more closely tonight. NBA TV broadcast will again be on tape delay, so for those who don’t have local coverage that don’t want to wait until 1 AM, it’s available online.

I think it's a really good fit...
Another super athletic combo-forward type that looks like he moves well enough to play the 3 spot a little more often than you’d really like Bass to… If he shows he can be productive and efficient on both ends, a lineup of Kidd/Howard/Singleton/Bass/Dirk could look really strong for 10-15 minutes a game against teams when they send their big(s) to the bench…

That line-up
even with Diop/Damp in there instead of Bass would be really intriguing… as long as Singleton keeps improving, and doesnt have any issues with that knee, I think this guy could have some potential at some quality PT there with the roster the way it is right now.
