After being down by 10, at least.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 5:29 PM CDT   0 recs

Finally

got into the “live” stream on nba.com. It’s showing as the first quarter though, so I guess it’s behind…

by Mav in Cali on Jul 16, 2008 5:32 PM CDT   0 recs

its on nbatv

also if you get it

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:34 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

unfortunately

i don’t… thanks anyway though. plus it’s only 3:40 pm over here in Cali so I’m still working while having this run on my computer at the same time hehe

by Mav in Cali on Jul 16, 2008 5:39 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

oh yeah...

well… keep up the good work!! ;)

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:43 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Looks like the Artest deal

with Sacramento is creating quite a stir up... especially with what Mike Fisher wrote on how we could get him.

I think though to a degree, looking at both arguments, the Kings are over-valuing Artest more than they should, and we are under-valuing them more so than we should. I think JET could be used in a trade, but also think that getting Garcia wont happen, any deal done will MUST include bass, and we will undoubtedly have to take on Thomas’s contract….

John Thompson

is like the old guy (Cedric the entertainer) in the barber shop

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:42 PM CDT   0 recs

Green

had a nice put back there.

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:43 PM CDT   0 recs

Singleton

really struggling… again… I knew I jinxed him when I posted that article on him being this year’s BB… DANGIT

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:46 PM CDT   0 recs

1-5 fg

1 offensive rebound in 10 min

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:47 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

At the half

Dallas is up 46-32

outscores Sacramento 35-11 in the second

Frahm has 9 points, Foster has 6, Rhodes with 5. Green is 1-5 on his shooting,

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:52 PM CDT   0 recs

Good to hear

because this first quarter i just watched stunk

by Mav in Cali on Jul 16, 2008 5:53 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I like these countdowns they show during halftime

Though I completely disagreed with the best playoff slam dunks of all time. The one they just showed now was top game winners of the season…Dirk’s GW three against Utah was #1.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 5:54 PM CDT   0 recs

That was such an awesome game

wasnt it that one, that sealed us for the playoffs also?

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:56 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I think so

I could be wrong, but I’m inclined to agree with you. Yes, that was an awesome game…I was totally freaking out at the end.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 5:57 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I know!

I lost my voice that night!

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:58 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I need to watch a Mavs game in Dallas

It’s on my will-have-to-do-eventually list.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 5:59 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

yeah we should do

a mavsmoneyball night this next year

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:01 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Anyone

know how the Divisions will be re-worked out west now that OKC has a team?

I cant imagine OKC not being in our division… right?

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:55 PM CDT   0 recs

Haven't found out anything about that yet

Maybe Memphis will slide over to the East?

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 5:56 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I thought that

but then we would have more teams out east, than out west and a pacific division with only 3 teams… with the other two having 4

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 5:57 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

wow

well that makes it easy I guess

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:04 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Kamla

Finally saying Shan’s name right.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 5:57 PM CDT   0 recs

Green

with a nice “scoop-to-the-hoop”

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:05 PM CDT   0 recs

You're delayed, I think

Unless Green did two scoops to the hoop…are you watching online? My score is 54-37.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:06 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

yeah I was

I had re-winded the Dirk shot earlier and forgot to move the tivo back to live

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:07 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Must be sweet to have tivo

You can skip commercials!

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:08 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

best investement

EVER… Once you watch tv without commercials, its hard to ever watch them with them… so much time wasted with commercials.

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:10 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Yeah, I bet

This is why I watch my TV shows online. Even if I get to them a day late, I don’t care, since there is only like one commercial per break online.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:11 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Oh yeah

Off topic…Germany won today and Puerto Rico lost, but both are in the quarters. Dirk had 35 in today’s game and no fouls. Germany will play Brazil next and Puerto Rico will play Slovenia.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:07 PM CDT   0 recs

Ha

Singleton not wearing the long socks.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:07 PM CDT   0 recs

Green is

getting most his points from the FT line… going 6-6… has 10 points

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:11 PM CDT   0 recs

he would do well in Avery's system

cuz with his play being so up and down, he would definitely see his stretches of not playing

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:14 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

In the doghouse one game

Getting a lot of minutes the next

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:15 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

lol

seriously… he would have a suite in Avery’s dog house… probably occupy what was Devin’s suite for so many years

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:16 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I miss Devin

He didn’t deserve to be in the doghouse that often. Looks like he calls the plays in New Jersey now.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:17 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

as he should have been

for about 2 years now

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:18 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Green

Making it rain

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:14 PM CDT   0 recs

Ah

Heat check from Green

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:14 PM CDT   0 recs

Green

18 points, 8 rebounds…

One could live with that on a consistent basis from the sg spot.

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:17 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Yeah

Key word being “consistent”

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:18 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I like Rhodes

He hasn’t been signed, right?

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:19 PM CDT   0 recs

not yet

I was just thinking that… we only have one more slot left.

I was also thinking that McLeod was a bad signing… but I dont think his is guaranteed.

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:20 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Is Green guaranteed?

All I remember is that his contract is for one year.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:21 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

yeah

he is on the team no matter what this year… unless we release him and continue to pay him

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:22 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

mcleod's contract is non-guaranteed

but singleton’s is guaranteed

by Mav in Cali on Jul 16, 2008 6:28 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Also was thinking

that Terry really has impressed me or stood out like I thought he would

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:21 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Wonder if the Kings are tired

Their game vs. Portland went to OT.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:22 PM CDT   0 recs

He is not

I don’t think they want to take any chances with him. I was really impressed by Bayless and this Finnish kid, Koponen.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:24 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

And 1 for Rhodes

Should have dunked it, but it went in, at least.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:25 PM CDT   0 recs

and he broke that guy down

with the dribble on that move

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:29 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Look at Rhodes

With the offensive board

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:27 PM CDT   0 recs

Damn

Rhodes has 9 fouls, but has a double double

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:29 PM CDT   0 recs

we have a

plethora of guys who are 6-8 and have a lot of potential.

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:30 PM CDT   0 recs

Jason Thompson

is just standing underneath cleaning up the boards…

Walter Herman/Joaquim noah guy back in

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:31 PM CDT   0 recs

At least they're not having scoring problems in this game

Last night during the Kings/Blazers game they kept stopping due to how the scoreboard is different from what the scorekeepers have…and they were actually doing the math by hand at one point, not even using a calculator. Thankfully it was fixed.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:31 PM CDT   0 recs

gheez

how much time that set them back?

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:32 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Not a lot

Just a few minutes, but it was annoying. They had given one team two points from a pair of free throws, then the refs took the points away, and then gave them back after doing the math.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:33 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Ju smith

with a RAINBOW

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:34 PM CDT   0 recs

LOST LOST LOST

on defense

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:37 PM CDT   0 recs

sow

had pretty good hands on that pass from williams

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:39 PM CDT   0 recs

I thought they were gonna blow that steal

Those guys didn’t quite know what to do there, haha

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:40 PM CDT   0 recs

Low

always seems to have more court vision than Mcleod does… why he doesnt get more PT is kinda surprising…

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:41 PM CDT   0 recs

It sucks

cuz it improves the Hornets next year… but I think his play is a little over-rated. No one gave him a second thought before last year, then had a really good run with the C’s and is now cashing in on it.

I would be really surprised if he has the same type of impact on the Hornets as he did with the C’s. Especially if Peja goes down (likely could, as he is injury prone) and he see’s more minutes, his so-so play will come out. 4 year commitment means he will be 36-ish when that contract is done.

by Toddy on Jul 16, 2008 6:44 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I personally can't stand the guy since he was with the Heat and the Celtics

But he is solid defensively and does not hesitate to take the big shots when it counts. It does suck that the Hornets improved…I just feel like we’re running in place or something. I don’t know, maybe this whole Kidd trade will work out once the season starts.

by Marie on Jul 16, 2008 6:49 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Im still holding

out in hopes that we make another move. I DO think that the way the roster is right now, is the one we head into the season with, but I hope I’m wrong… so we dont have yet another “well, when we have a full training camp, we’ll see what happens” comes out of the FO again.

I wish we would just make a move now, get it right from the get-go this year, and then tweak it if we need to at the trade deadline… not over-haul it.
