Darius Miles attempting comeback

This might be of interest because according to SI.com's Ian Thomsen, Darius Miles has auditioned for the Mavericks in Las Vegas:

"He was much better than I thought he would be,'' a member of the Mavericks' camp said. "On a scale of 1 to 10, I was expecting him to be 6. But he was a good, solid 8.''

He also worked out for the Nets, Celtics, and Suns.  Would you want him in a Mavericks uniform?

Absolutely

If you can go low risk/medium reward for a guy like that…I’d do it in a heartbeat. ESPECIALLY if Bass gets shipped out in some kind of deal.

Besides…doesn’t Josh need a smoking buddy?

suspension

It doesn’t sound like he got suspended for marijuana.

Based on the length of his first-time suspension, teams are assuming that Miles tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug.

So he’s going to miss the first 10 games but if he plays the next 10, he takes away $9M from the Blazers salary cap. Sucks to be them. Instead of $25M to spend next off season, they will “only” have $15M.

Signature! I don't need no stinking signature!!

Is he making an NBA comeback or a Hollywood comeback?

Maybe trying to reap the benefits of all the buzz from “The Perfect Score”?

Of course

that is a nobrainer if you are a mavs fan.

Josh Hamilton is better than you.

Haha, I like the Perfect Score reference

I don’t know which one is worse, Darius Miles the basketball player or Darius Miles the actor! But there were actually quite a few funny parts in that movie, none involving Miles though…

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you come in first.
