MLE - "verbally" gone.

Draft - Foster was a great choice at 51, but no other moves were made.

Free Agents - Green was signed, picked up Jones, reportedly going after George, and reportedly signed JJB to a 3 year deal? (no source yet, just rumors on JJB)

Therotical roster as of now.

Kidd, JET, JJB (?)

Stackhouse, Jones, Green

Howard, Reshawn Terry (?), Foster, George (?)

Dirk, Bass

Damp, Diop

What happens now? Do we pick up scraps (probably one more big body) to fill in the rest and take this roster into training camp to compete for a championship?

Stays as is, with addition of some min vet contracts and summer league guys

Los Angeles Lakers
New Orleans Hornets
San Antonio Spurs
Utah Jazz
Houston Rockets
Phoenix Suns
Portland Trailblazers
Los Angeles Clippers (assuming they get Elton Brand re-signed and Brand/Davis stay healthy)

Those are all better teams… And we still probably aren’t any better than Denver… We might be the 10th best team in the Western Conference on paper heading into next season.

w/ that line-up. I”ve met LIttle Nelson personally. The guy is Cuban’s pupet. He didn’t even know what grade his own son was in. He was off by THREE FREAKING YEARS. The Mavs have not made any moves since his dad left (and I hated the way his dad coached). How can he possibly think signing Diop at the MLE is a good idea? W/ the holes we have and the talent out there? Why not CJ Miles. At least there’s some upside there? Get ready for another 10 years of crap basketball….............at least I gave up my season tix this year.

In 2010, there are no restrictions, meaning the Nets get it whether it’s No. 1 or No. 30.

Dont want to sound dumb ????I also think the Mavs are gonna move Terry and Howard …....That would be the thing that the mavs should look at….but I seriously doubt the Mavs are going back to the dark ages.
