Arroyo

I didnt see it, and my spanish is crap at best… but I think the guys blogging on the right of this feed said he got hurt. I didnt see him either in the 3rd quarter I watched.

whoa whoa whoa

looks like my lawn-care based spanish from when I was in high school is still of good use!

Arroyo did in fact get hurt.

NBA star Arroyo, Puerto Rico’s leader and best-known player, tore a muscle in his left leg during the second quarter of Saturday’s defeat to Greece.

"Carlos will not be able to play," Cintron said to FIBA.Com.

"He has a muscle tear but it’s a minor injury and should we qualify, he would be able to play at the Olympics."

Germany is going to win

with them up 15 with about 2 min to go.

Dirk is still in the game… wait, is Avery coaching the German team now?

Barea

in the final min, ripped a rebound out of Dirks hands… it was pretty funny.

Also JJB is sporting the Damp and Terry knee-highs… you know he means business.

Dirk got a rebound ripped by him,

sounds like what Rondo did against him in the first Celtics game.

The dynasty that should be the Arizona Diamondbacks.

I thought the same thing

man that celtic game was so frustrating… I think that play, and Kobe out rebounding Bass in one of the laker games this year when the announcer called it right before it happened was the two laziest rebounding plays of last season.

Dirk has 30

JJB has 18… with 1:20 to go

Again

my spanish is not really that good, but the PR’s blogging on the right are saying that they lost bc of JJB

yeah

well, I didnt trust many people being awake for the game on a Sunday morning, so I thought I would just post some notes on here about the game. It was actually the first Olympic qualifying game I have watched this year.

Thanks for the recap, Toddy

I was awake, but had to get a new battery for the car and then go to church, so I didn’t see the game since I was out most of the day. Dirk had a huge game against Croatia and looks like he had a big one here too (percentages were better last game, I think). I hope he’s not hurt or injured due to that fall.

Just checked out the groupings for the Olympics…Germany is in Group B along with the US, China, Spain, and Greece…holy crap, good luck getting out of that one.
