It's official, the two-headed monster is back in Dallas
Looks like we used the MLE on him too... good thing IMO, cuz I think we can get better value at the 2/3 spot with the trading chips we have (Stack, JET, Jones, George if he resigns), rather than to add yet another 2/3 spare with the MLE.

Sign and traded for Diop, and used the MLE on James Posey, but it is what it is I guess…

I find
that Posey would have been pretty tough to get here for
A: just the MLE
B: to the Mavs, considering that Boston, San Antonio, Cleveland etc. all seem to be better options than Dallas right now. Posey is a tricky situation, only because like Maggette, he will want to be on a team thats contending right now, and on paper, those other teams have a better shot of contention than Dallas does.

Maggette than Posey. I think we should have really gone after Maggette if possible.
I like Diop and maybe he improves this year under Carlisle.

offering way more than the MLE to Maggette, there was no way we could get him here. Unless we do a sign and trade for him though.
