Howard Arrested

Thanks buddy, this is exactly what this team needs right now.

Mavericks guard Josh Howard was arrested in Winston-Salem, N.C. Thursday night for street racing, according to police.

Howard is facing charges of speeding, reckless driving, and speed competition, according to myFOXdfw's sister station myFOXwghp.com.

The website says an officer spotted Howard driving a black Lexus with a passenger on the city's west side.

Howard was taken to the Forsyth County magistrate's office and released on a written promise to appear in court on Sept. 23.

I'm trying to imagine

what kinda Lexus would be worth racing? From the factory I cant think of any Lexus worth racing except the IS-F… but then he would be a bit tall for that car wouldnt he? I’m 6’4” and find it annoying getting in and out of my friends IS. I cant imagine someone being 6’7” doing that on a regular basis.

A tricked out GS perhaps?

Not smart

I’m not going to act like this is the worst thing in the world, but why would he put himself in a position like this? Regardless of who you are, unless you are leading some type of civil protest ala Martin Luther King Jr., you don’t want to get arrested other any circumstances.
