Training Camp Roster

Pops needs to be in camp... I'm still confused as to why they let him go...

The Mavericks added four players for training camp: 2007 pick Reyshawn Terry and rookie free agents Charles Rhodes, JaJuan Smith and Cheyne Gadson.

Here's the roster:

so hopefully

we trim this down to:

PG: Kidd, Barea
SG: J. Terry, Green,
SF: Howard, Wright, Stackhouse, George, R. Terry
PF: Dirk, Bass, Singleton
C: Dampier, Diop

drop/trade Eddie Jones; if we get somebody significant back, place them on the roster; if not, place Singleton on the roster. What happened to Frahm?

Any chance Seibutis is ready to contribute at some point this year? Ideally, I’d like him to grow into our backup PG

sg spot

Im eager to see what wright can do early on at the sg spot. He to me is the brightest young guy we have outside of Bass, and has the most experience of our young guys at being able to fill that roll.

I think to have a realistic rotation of Howard, JET, Stack and player X (Wright or Green perhaps?) at the 2 and 3, with JET moving over to play PG for many of his minutes is what we will see this year.

I still would like to see Terry come off the bench, either for Kidd or the SG starter, but yet maintain 30 mpg. He is definitely a valuable asset to the team if his shooting can return to what it was 2 years ago.
