Some slightly depressing stuff
Ran across this article from Art Garcia on NBA.com today. It is more or less the same information that's floating around in regards to Dirk possibly leaving or being traded, with comparisons to KG's and Gasol's situations in their former teams. Quotes that I found interssting:
It was suggested to a team insider that these Mavs could be the Utah/Seattle/Portland teams of the 1990s, teams on the championship brink that couldn't close the deal. His response: "I wish we were that good."
While his relationship to former coach Avery Johnson deteriorated, Nowitzki hasn't connected with Rick Carlisle. Several veteran players are underwhelmed with the new coach's methods, including with practices they say accomplish little.
"Maybe one more piece can change our momentum," Nowitzki said. "We'll see what happens until the deadline. If nothing happens, we'll go to war with what we've got."

practice should accomplish everything!
Really all America want is cold beer, warm p***y, and some place to take a s**t with a door on it. - Mr. Ford
Yeah, but as Allen Iverson once said.
How the hell can I make my teammates better by practicing.
I have witnessed time and time again.
Nothing new here.
"My mother always taught me that if the only thing you have to say is,
‘(Expletive) Dave Samson,’ then don’t say anything at all.
So I’m not going to say anything at all.
Is my mother the greatest or what?"
