Hmm ...

Anyone will watch it? :P

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:09 PM CST reply actions

It hasn't started yet; the college ball game just ended

But I won’t be surprised if no one shows up…I think we’re all fed up by now

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:10 PM CST up reply actions

He needs his long hair.

We win when he has his long locks.

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:13 PM CST up reply actions

I love his hair short

So I hope he keeps it this way

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:13 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah ... right ...

Let’s hope he don’t become a big monkey and all … :P

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:17 PM CST up reply actions

Nah, they're powel level has to be the same.

Eddy curry has no power, just weight. Curry is one of those fusions gone wrong.

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:19 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah ...

Mah jin boo? :P or whatever his name is

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:21 PM CST up reply actions

what the hell

are you people talking about? I know basketball…and THIS isn’t basketball…

"Hang-Dai, Wu...Hang-Fu$&ing-Dai"

by Walter Sobchak on Jan 29, 2009 1:14 AM CST up reply actions

Yeah, I know...

But I like the short hair on him anyway.

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:14 PM CST up reply actions

Hmm

I don’t hate Golden State as much these days now that the beard is gone…

Their fans are still mostly insufferable though.

JEFF TEAGUE TIME.

by jonthefon on Jan 28, 2009 8:17 PM CST reply actions

If that goes on ...

We’ll get to a time where we can only get Earl Watson for Josh.

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:21 PM CST up reply actions

Terrible defense

Dirk just turned his back on Crawford

by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 8:24 PM CST reply actions

What the fuck!

Why show her when there’s a game going on, and someone scored! I hate ESPN!

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:25 PM CST reply actions

plz someone any link?

of course its blacked out on league pass

by mavsss41 on Jan 28, 2009 8:30 PM CST reply actions

Uh ohh

not sure this will work.

by bbob on Jan 28, 2009 8:34 PM CST reply actions

I don't really like this lineup on the floor...

I can see the lead evaporating…though I hope I’m wrong

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:40 PM CST reply actions

Good job, Josh

Going up high for that board

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:41 PM CST reply actions

What!

How is that a foul on JJB

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:44 PM CST reply actions

Really?

Foul on Barea? Really?

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:44 PM CST reply actions

Seabass!

Or whatever we’re calling him!

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:45 PM CST reply actions

Maggette

and his fluke shots…

JEFF TEAGUE TIME.

by jonthefon on Jan 28, 2009 8:48 PM CST reply actions

I have a thing for Sarah Melton,

the Mavs’ PR Lady. I just thought this would be a good time to get it out in the open haha.

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:54 PM CST reply actions

Haha

I hope you’re not thinking of a “Marry Me Sarah Melton!” sign. Talk about creepy.
Oddly enough I can’t think of anything else to say haha.

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 9:01 PM CST up reply actions

You're on.

Haha this is going to be fun.

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 9:14 PM CST up reply actions

You should come up with a pun, bruce

Though I’d crack up even without the pun, if you did it

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:16 PM CST up reply actions

That's so ridiculous, hahaha

You need to put a glitter heart on there. I bet they’ll show it on TV…I can see Bob and Mark getting a kick out of it.

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:20 PM CST up reply actions

What's gotten into Damp

He’s playing well. I guess because the Warriors don’t really have a big.

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:09 PM CST reply actions

I also came to the conclusion.

It’s too bad he can’t play like this every game.

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 9:10 PM CST up reply actions

I hope Bynum is suspended for what happened to Gerald Wallace

I watched that game and felt horrible for the poor guy. I mean, if the league can suspend Dirk for a pseudo-punch, they need to punish Bynum for sending someone to the hospital.

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:19 PM CST reply actions

Yeah

but this is the NBA, where star players get star treatment and playoff games are rigged for the sake of making more dollar.

JEFF TEAGUE TIME.

by jonthefon on Jan 28, 2009 9:20 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah, but see, Bynum isn't a star

But since he’s a Laker and a teammate of Kobe, he gets that treatment?

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:22 PM CST up reply actions

I'm 100% with you ...

That should have been a flagrant at the moment. And he should be suspended. The guy had a lung collapse. That was crazy. If Dirk was suspended for nothing, he has to get at least 3 games.

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:21 PM CST up reply actions

What happened?

Did he finally kill someone?

by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 9:24 PM CST up reply actions

Well ...

He “collided” with Wallace while he was going to dunk on Bynum and had a collapsed lung, broken rib and all that …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:25 PM CST up reply actions

And, remarkably, Wallace didn't need a wheelchair

But I think he was strapped to a gurney as soon as he got into the tunnel

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:26 PM CST up reply actions

Watch Bynum extend that arm

and level Wallace in the chest-throat area. Suspend his ass.

by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:24 PM CST up reply actions

Game just started

But we should be in good shape with Augustin and Wallace out (unfortunately, since he is also a trade target).

by Norsktroll on Jan 28, 2009 9:22 PM CST up reply actions

Poor Wallace

Last night’s game was fun to watch, though…I stayed up pretty late, due to the tennis, as well

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:23 PM CST up reply actions

Hey Marie ...

At what time is the Federer match?

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:24 PM CST up reply actions

For me

It’s not until 3:30 AM. He’ll probably beat Roddick in straights, so I’m not even going to watch it.

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:25 PM CST up reply actions

East time? That will be 5:30 here ...

Nadal x Federer on the finals will be pretty fantastic …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:26 PM CST up reply actions

I'm over that matchup

Sick of it. I’m going for Verdasco and then Dinara Safina on the women’s side, since her brother is one of my favorite players

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:28 PM CST up reply actions

How could you guys stand it?

Tennis? It’s only fun for me when they go back and forth non-stop for like a minute, which doesn’t happen quite often. But I guess you can’t cherry-pick the exciting stuff.

by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:30 PM CST up reply actions

Hmm ...

Man, the Federer x Nadal Wimbledon finals last year had everything. It was fantastic … Almost every game they play is great …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:32 PM CST up reply actions

I chose not to watch that match

I don’t care if I missed a classic

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:33 PM CST up reply actions

That one had me glued to my seat

Very nail-biting. Too bad Federer lost to that girl. ;)

by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:33 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah ...

That was the only bad thing of the game … I thought he would find a way to win that 5th set … Nadal will have 1 million points to defend this year.

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:35 PM CST up reply actions

It helps if you have favorite players, in my opinion

Honestly, I got into it because the guys are hot. But I grew to appreciate the game and its nuances. I even watch the women and I don’t like girls.

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:32 PM CST up reply actions

The women tennis ...

Is so boring. Unless you have the WIlliams, Sharapova or Ivanovic playing … And I started watching tennis because of my man Guga … It’s a shame he had to retire … But I like tennis a lot.

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:36 PM CST up reply actions

If he wasn't injured ...

He would have go down as one of the best … He was really close of winning the USOPEN … and I think he could have won 2 or 3 more Roland Garros …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:38 PM CST up reply actions

No ...

He is on college right now … Doing arts or something like that. He will coach latter I think. Maybe play on the senior tour … It’s really a shame he had to stop. That backhand was a freak of the nature

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:45 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah ...

Looks like he started a trend … I haven’t seen many doing it before him. Sharapova learned from him. :P

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:54 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah ...

Sharapova playing is exactly that …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:38 PM CST up reply actions

So

One freakishly larger forearm is hot to you? lol

by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:36 PM CST up reply actions

I don't think Nadal is hot, haha

I liked him when he first came out, like when he was 15, but now he’s too popular and I hope he loses every time

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:37 PM CST up reply actions

I hate seeing Nadal ...

He always move his pants when serving …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:40 PM CST up reply actions

He got rid of the capris

But I bet he still picks his ass

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:40 PM CST up reply actions

He has so much money ...

He could pick different pants or something … I don’t know if there is a man that can like him because of that …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:42 PM CST up reply actions

It's just marketing

No one is as stylish as Roge, though

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:44 PM CST up reply actions

Well ...

From what I can say, I would never buy any pants he uses :P eheh

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:46 PM CST up reply actions

he has a constant

wedgie… that probabl could be easily solved if hed stop wearing such queer pants

by zkmavz on Jan 28, 2009 9:40 PM CST up reply actions

Thanks for the new word ...

That was exactly what I wanted to say … Maybe he can’t buy other pants …

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:43 PM CST up reply actions

Simon pushed Nadal a little

last night. But Rafa managed to pull through.

Pulling for Federer and Dementieva.

JEFF TEAGUE TIME.

by jonthefon on Jan 28, 2009 9:32 PM CST up reply actions

Simon is fun to watch

He’s smart and has great shot selection

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:33 PM CST up reply actions

Blazers color announcer Mike Rice just called Diop, Diaw and Bell "Christmas gifts" for the Bobcats. I'm still laughing

He also said Diop is a great defensive presence and dangerous shot blocker. I wonder when he last watched him.

by Norsktroll on Jan 28, 2009 9:29 PM CST reply actions

Maybe ...

He and Jon Barry must be learning things together.

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:31 PM CST up reply actions

Classic

Diaw and Bell have worked out for Charlotte, though

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:31 PM CST up reply actions

He has actually improved with the Cats ...

He is averaging 2 points, 2.7 boards and 1 block in 6 games … Now, that’s a gift :P

by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:34 PM CST up reply actions

woooooot

its nice to come home from work to a 20ish pt lead…

He got hurt in the Magic game last night

It didn’t look serious, though he didn’t play the rest of the game after he got hurt. It’s hand-related.

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:49 PM CST up reply actions

Well ... I can't watch the game ...

But we are shooting 58% … That makes me think there is no defense involved … If we let them get back, I don’t know what to do …

Blazers up 26 at the half. Rudy had a great around the back pass between two players on a steal and fast break as the highlight so far. Everyone playing pretty well.

by Norsktroll on Jan 28, 2009 10:08 PM CST reply actions

Rudy is awesome

I hope he does that rainbow kick for the dunk contest, which is what you guys were speculating the last time I was at BE

by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 10:09 PM CST up reply actions
