Hope this game is worth missing an episode of Lost
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
It hasn't started yet; the college ball game just ended
But I won’t be surprised if no one shows up…I think we’re all fed up by now
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:10 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Is it just me or did Dirk's hair grow really fast?
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 8:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
It was still short last Sunday
now it’s like Vintage Dirk haha
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 8:13 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He needs his long hair.
We win when he has his long locks.
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:13 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I love his hair short
So I hope he keeps it this way
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:13 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Well, it can't be level 5
That’s the red hair Saiya-jin
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:15 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah ... right ...
Let’s hope he don’t become a big monkey and all … :P
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:17 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I hope he don't do it with Eddy Curry :P
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:18 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Nah, they're powel level has to be the same.
Eddy curry has no power, just weight. Curry is one of those fusions gone wrong.

Yeah ...
Mah jin boo? :P or whatever his name is

Yeah, I know...
But I like the short hair on him anyway.
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:14 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Maybe that's the reason he shaved it at the start of the season
So it could be long for the playoffs …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:14 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Never happen..
He’s as close to a franchise player as they’ve got right now …and his moped.
by bbob on Jan 28, 2009 8:15 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Why am I more comfortable this year
when the Mavs play on the road instead of at home?
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 8:16 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Like every team that visits the AAC
plays out of this world
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 8:18 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Hmm
I don’t hate Golden State as much these days now that the beard is gone…
Their fans are still mostly insufferable though.

Monta, Crawford, Jackson?
I suppose Maggette is scoring spark off the bench.
JEFF TEAGUE TIME.
by jonthefon on Jan 28, 2009 8:18 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
If that goes on ...
We’ll get to a time where we can only get Earl Watson for Josh.
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 8:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
They already have a highlight reel ready for Jackson
Not a good sign
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:22 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Terrible defense
Dirk just turned his back on Crawford
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 8:24 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
What the fuck!
Why show her when there’s a game going on, and someone scored! I hate ESPN!
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:25 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Good, Ellis is hurt
Get back on your moped
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:26 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

I don’t think I’ve seen a funny one yet

I really hope so
Hopefully he travels with the team so he can come back to Orlando for a game
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:33 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He's an assistant coach
I assume he always will travel with the team from now on

It's not that chick with the glasses you guys were fawning over, is it
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:40 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
No, just some random brunettes at the game.
I wish it was the glasses chick.
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:42 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I don't really like this lineup on the floor...
I can see the lead evaporating…though I hope I’m wrong

Good job, Josh
Going up high for that board
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:41 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

Mark and Bob got a text asking if Dirk is going to the All star game.
The number was 0010. Bender?
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:48 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
It's ok...
Turiaf just lost his ability to have children.
by bbob on Jan 28, 2009 8:50 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
So these ESPN jokers say that using the leg to create space is now a new foul call
Yet did they call that on Billups when it happened?

What a move by Bass
I wish he’d finished that
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:53 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I have a thing for Sarah Melton,
the Mavs’ PR Lady. I just thought this would be a good time to get it out in the open haha.
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:54 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Sorry, I don't know why I find that so funny, haha
She is a brunette…
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:55 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I ended up seeing her close in person at the 76'ers game earlier this month at the AAC.
She is really pretty. Love them brunettes!
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 8:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
You should go to a game again
And make one of those signs :)
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 8:59 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Haha
I hope you’re not thinking of a “Marry Me Sarah Melton!” sign. Talk about creepy.
Oddly enough I can’t think of anything else to say haha.

You're on.
Haha this is going to be fun.

JEFF TEAGUE TIME.
by jonthefon on Jan 28, 2009 9:15 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
You should come up with a pun, bruce
Though I’d crack up even without the pun, if you did it
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:16 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I'll take a pic of me and the sign before the game and maybe during.
Marie how about, Sarah, You’re Melton My Heart!
Lol
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 9:18 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
That's so ridiculous, hahaha
You need to put a glitter heart on there. I bet they’ll show it on TV…I can see Bob and Mark getting a kick out of it.

It only shows the All Star game logo …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:01 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I hate when networks at 2 extra minutes onto the end of shows..
and only have two tuners.
by bbob on Jan 28, 2009 9:02 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
What's gotten into Damp
He’s playing well. I guess because the Warriors don’t really have a big.
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I also came to the conclusion.
It’s too bad he can’t play like this every game.
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 9:10 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Damp's had a very underrated year
If only he was consistent
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:10 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I hope Bynum is suspended for what happened to Gerald Wallace
I watched that game and felt horrible for the poor guy. I mean, if the league can suspend Dirk for a pseudo-punch, they need to punish Bynum for sending someone to the hospital.
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:19 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Yeah
but this is the NBA, where star players get star treatment and playoff games are rigged for the sake of making more dollar.
JEFF TEAGUE TIME.
by jonthefon on Jan 28, 2009 9:20 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah, but see, Bynum isn't a star
But since he’s a Laker and a teammate of Kobe, he gets that treatment?
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:22 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I'm 100% with you ...
That should have been a flagrant at the moment. And he should be suspended. The guy had a lung collapse. That was crazy. If Dirk was suspended for nothing, he has to get at least 3 games.
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
What happened?
Did he finally kill someone?
by bruce182 on Jan 28, 2009 9:24 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He threw this elbow that broke Wallace's ribs
Now he has a partially collapsed lung
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:25 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Well ...
He “collided” with Wallace while he was going to dunk on Bynum and had a collapsed lung, broken rib and all that …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:25 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
And, remarkably, Wallace didn't need a wheelchair
But I think he was strapped to a gurney as soon as he got into the tunnel
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:26 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Watch Bynum extend that arm
and level Wallace in the chest-throat area. Suspend his ass.
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:24 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Good game Mavs, watching the Blazers at the moment ;-)
by Norsktroll on Jan 28, 2009 9:20 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Game just started
But we should be in good shape with Augustin and Wallace out (unfortunately, since he is also a trade target).
by Norsktroll on Jan 28, 2009 9:22 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Poor Wallace
Last night’s game was fun to watch, though…I stayed up pretty late, due to the tennis, as well
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:23 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Hey Marie ...
At what time is the Federer match?
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:24 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
For me
It’s not until 3:30 AM. He’ll probably beat Roddick in straights, so I’m not even going to watch it.
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:25 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
East time? That will be 5:30 here ...
Nadal x Federer on the finals will be pretty fantastic …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:26 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I'm over that matchup
Sick of it. I’m going for Verdasco and then Dinara Safina on the women’s side, since her brother is one of my favorite players
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:28 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
How could you guys stand it?
Tennis? It’s only fun for me when they go back and forth non-stop for like a minute, which doesn’t happen quite often. But I guess you can’t cherry-pick the exciting stuff.
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:30 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Hmm ...
Man, the Federer x Nadal Wimbledon finals last year had everything. It was fantastic … Almost every game they play is great …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:32 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I chose not to watch that match
I don’t care if I missed a classic
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:33 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
That one had me glued to my seat
Very nail-biting. Too bad Federer lost to that girl. ;)
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:33 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah ...
That was the only bad thing of the game … I thought he would find a way to win that 5th set … Nadal will have 1 million points to defend this year.
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:35 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
It helps if you have favorite players, in my opinion
Honestly, I got into it because the guys are hot. But I grew to appreciate the game and its nuances. I even watch the women and I don’t like girls.
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:32 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
The women tennis ...
Is so boring. Unless you have the WIlliams, Sharapova or Ivanovic playing … And I started watching tennis because of my man Guga … It’s a shame he had to retire … But I like tennis a lot.
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:36 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
If he wasn't injured ...
He would have go down as one of the best … He was really close of winning the USOPEN … and I think he could have won 2 or 3 more Roland Garros …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:38 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He beat my Marat at the year-end championships, I think
He finished #1 that year
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:38 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Isn't Guga coaching now
Like Davis Cup or something?
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:42 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
No ...
He is on college right now … Doing arts or something like that. He will coach latter I think. Maybe play on the senior tour … It’s really a shame he had to stop. That backhand was a freak of the nature
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:45 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah ...
Looks like he started a trend … I haven’t seen many doing it before him. Sharapova learned from him. :P
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:54 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Gotta admit though
It’s like audio porn
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:37 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah ...
Sharapova playing is exactly that …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:38 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
So
One freakishly larger forearm is hot to you? lol
by ptrck on Jan 28, 2009 9:36 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I don't think Nadal is hot, haha
I liked him when he first came out, like when he was 15, but now he’s too popular and I hope he loses every time
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:37 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I hate seeing Nadal ...
He always move his pants when serving …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:40 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He got rid of the capris
But I bet he still picks his ass
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:40 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He has so much money ...
He could pick different pants or something … I don’t know if there is a man that can like him because of that …
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:42 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
It's just marketing
No one is as stylish as Roge, though
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 9:44 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Well ...
From what I can say, I would never buy any pants he uses :P eheh
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:46 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
he has a constant
wedgie… that probabl could be easily solved if hed stop wearing such queer pants

Blazers color announcer Mike Rice just called Diop, Diaw and Bell "Christmas gifts" for the Bobcats. I'm still laughing
He also said Diop is a great defensive presence and dangerous shot blocker. I wonder when he last watched him.
by Norsktroll on Jan 28, 2009 9:29 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Maybe ...
He and Jon Barry must be learning things together.
by hugommorais on Jan 28, 2009 9:31 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He has actually improved with the Cats ...
He is averaging 2 points, 2.7 boards and 1 block in 6 games … Now, that’s a gift :P

It didn’t look serious, though he didn’t play the rest of the game after he got hurt. It’s hand-related.

Not yet
I won’t until tomorrow. I was told that the episode focused on the islanders, which is great. I think their storyline will be better than the O6 trying to make their way back.

oh it's all good to me. any episode that answers questions is a winner to me.

Mavs still looking good?
Blazers up 26 at the half. Rudy had a great around the back pass between two players on a steal and fast break as the highlight so far. Everyone playing pretty well.
by Norsktroll on Jan 28, 2009 10:08 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Rudy is awesome
I hope he does that rainbow kick for the dunk contest, which is what you guys were speculating the last time I was at BE
by Marie on Jan 28, 2009 10:09 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
He should be in the skills challenge, not the dunk contest :)
Well, Blazers also have two guys in the Rookies – Sophomore game and a surefire All-Star, which is a great improvement over previous seasons.

He was talking kind of low,
so sometimes I couldn’t hear what the hell he was saying. And there were some awkward moments with conan, like they didn’t know what to talk about next. But nash is a very funny guy.

That would have been awesome. Also, apparently Nash has some pretty hilarious commercials he has written and produced. I think they have something to do with vitamin water. I wasn’t really paying attention to the product since Nash was really flamboyant in the ads.
