Mavs Moneyball
So Mr. Baggett hasn't updated this site in a week. Boo. What should be done? Lynching? Death by erotic asphyxiation? Force him to watch Boat Trip? We're not asking for much just post some occasional links and open a gamethread or two and you're done. Where are we gonna talk about future MVP Rodrique Beaubois, the great Kris Humphries, and Dirk's awesome hair? Update the site or bad things will happen.

So...uh...
who knows a guy who can do this “constant offseason update” stuff? I think Wes will eventually show up near the season opener, not sure about Baggett.
Managed to completely stop checking this thing during the offseason, been mostly getting my stuff from the Two Man Game and DB.com
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.

Scary stuff

The Charles Barkley 2009/10 Ancestors Count: 0 Grandmothers , 0 Mother Alltime: Reg. 23-0 Playoffs 7-0
"There were arms coming from everywhere, and I knew they weren’t going for the ball," Miller said. "I was just trying to get [the shot] up before they called some crap like ‘on the ground.’ "
"What do you want me to do?" Wright asked. "Do you want me to Derek Fisher him?"
"Give them some fucking credit, i mean for real." Jackson said.
"I just fell on my face for no reason," Bryant deadpanned. "I'm a klutz."
"Fucking right i'm preachin' it!" Carlisle replied.
"Rough life, isn't it. It's tough all over, isn't it." Smith chuckled.

We can always post the links of the day and stuff in a fanpost.
I can try to do that everyday until Wes comes back or something, if that’s ok. I always seem to have an hour to spare. I know Marie and ZK have done it before and I always enjoyed it.

This is why it was stupid
to not recruit a member of the site to “run things” and instead get some random guy.

Am I going to get in trouble with you guys if I say that I was asked to help out and I turned it down?
It’s hard for me to find the time to do it and I’d hate to say yes when I can’t truly dedicate myself to something.

Well, Baggett
hasn’t done much and he has keys…
I think maybe a couple of editors sharing the workload would be fine. They could be part-time and sort of do the tag-team, where whichever one can be bothered does the links post every day, and if the other one sees that there’s already a post, they just stay shut.
Of course, I’d love to have a stats guru as an additional contributor, but maybe that’s asking too much…

No, that's fine
Seems like Baggett should’ve turned it down because he doesn’t have time either.

I wouldn't mind doing the occasional links/recap post when I have time
Like over my lunch break or something. Thanks to everyone for their effort on this. This is like the only Mavs place I go to because, like others have said, it’s hard to get into DB.com for some reason.

You're awesome, thanks for the link :)
I was planning on watching this again; I have it on DVD somewhere. The last time I saw this was when it was originally aired on TV.
I’m a huge Beatles fan. If I can go back in time to stalk see George Harrison in the 60s, I would.

Harrison huh?
I’d stalk Ringo

I did the occasional post in the offseason, but I'm also spending most of my time with other things and got a bit frustrated with the lack of action here
Of course I also didn’t become active to change it, so my bad. I plan to write more fanshots and fanposts this season on Moneyball like I do on Blazer’s Edge, but I couldn’t do a full editor job and also feel like someone who is actually in DFW and can watch all games for recaps and previews, go to games, and ideally press events and trainings would be best suited. On BE Dave writes much of the analysis and is outside of Portland, but his co-editor Ben really goes to every team event like a regular accredited media member. I know that is an almost ideal situation and not that common even on big SBN blogs, but it should be the goal to have that kind of regular coverage again.

You guys gripe too much..
I don’t see how Wes or Baggett have the time, I barely can check my email.
Love,
The George.
