We're three games into the season, and Jason Kidd hasn't attempted a free throw. He's taken 16 shots -- ten of those have been 3's and one of them has been a layup. It's a pretty epic pace for a guy averaging 37 minutes a game. Hooray small sample sizes! Kidd's lowest scoring total last season over a three game stretch was six points (0,4,2).

And he has not been happy with his shot. He’s 1-of-10 from 3-pont range and 4-of-16 overall through three games.
He sought out Brad Davis after the Clippers game to help him work on his shot.
“I was just taking up space out there,” he said of his game against the Clips.
That’s not entirely true, unless you consider 10 assists, six rebounds and three steals “just taking up space.”

I also heard that Holger [Geschwindner] is in Town, which usually leads to a increase in Dirk’s Shooting% .
Maybe he’s asking the wrong guy.

But for real, as i pointed out earlier, that makes Ron Artest envy.
