History in the making

Odd that this Nets team could go down tonight as the worst-starting team in NBA history.

That roster does have some quality with Devin, Brook Lopez, Courtney Lee, CDR, and few role players who aren’t great but don’t outright suck either. And with a quality FA and high pick next year, they could very quickly turn it around.

OK maybe not Kidd

but Dirk can easily grab 6 more boards, dish 3 more passes

by ptrck on Dec 2, 2009 7:43 PM CST up reply actions

if you bet on Dallas, they would have to win by 8 or more for you to win your bet.
If you bet on NJ, they could lose by up to 7 points and you would still win your bet.
you can also bet on if the final score will total more or less than 189 both teams combined.

by Panorama on Dec 2, 2009 7:55 PM CST up reply actions

You can bet if Dallas manages to win by more or less than 7.5 points. And if it will be a high-scoring game with more than 189 points combined.

Vegas typically is pretty good about those point spreads using thousands of simulations by companies like accuscore or synergy.

Need something to root for?

Mavs could put 9 guys into double figures scoring tonight….

Good win for the Mavs to not become the team that screws it against the Nets

And the Nets will turn it around either later this season or next year if they can draft someone good (like Aldrich or Warren) and attract a high-quality free agent.

Not sure. Might be the Bobcats on Friday, but Wallace is very strong at the moment. They do get the Wolves again before Christmas, too.
