Proposed Trade Thread for the Deadline
This is a thread for any proposed trade ideas you can come up with and for discussion of said trades. The goal is to come up with some reasonable trades (which is somewhat subjective) using ESPN's trade machine or RealGM's trade checker. I personally prefer the ESPN one since it's a bit more user friendly.
Here's my proposed trade. I am assuming Phoenix to be in a cost cutting move and will want to get back to the "Six Seconds or Less" offense with their new coach. The Clippers have one too many centers and are looking to get value back.
Edit: If you want to link a trade using ESPN's Trade Machine, click the save trade button and it will show you the direct link. Use the direct link in your post here. Otherwise it just takes you to the first page. For RealGM trades, it will display a Trade ID number with a direct link to the specific trade.

Never gonna happen
Clippers won’t trade Gordon, but being from Indy and an IU grad, I’d love to have him as a Mav.

The question for the Clippers is
Whether they would rather have Gordon/Kaman/Davis or Barbosa/Howard/Wright. I’m not so sure that’s a slam dunk for them. The only thing is, I can see the Clippers demanding cash to offset the salary increase (and luxury tax increase).

I think it's more
Would they rather have Gordon – Thornton and the answer is yes.

Salmons
Here’s another Salmons trade that probably won’t happen.

God I hate Udrih's contract...
But I might do that trade just because I like Salmons so much…
Marc Stein said on Galloway’s show today that taking back that contract was the only way the Mavs could get Salmons…

Yeah ...
I think that the only really good player the mavs can get right now on a trade is Salmons. Those big trades won’t happen. Also, Salmons would be a great fit here. And I think your trade would make the mavs a lot better. Udrih is not that bad a player, he has a bad contract but Cuban has money and wants to expend. If we could put Carrol in, maybe we could do this trade, because his contract gets smaller with the years and Udrih’s contract only grows, maybe the kings would like it.
I don’t know about the numbers … But a Stack + Bass + Barea + George + 2 millions for Salmons + Udrih + Spencer Hawes trade would be fantastic. That gives us a starter at the 2, a better backup at pg and a very good PF. Also, the best thing is that we get rid of George :P … To the kings I think it works, because they get rid of Udrih’s contract, Salmons 2011 contract get the cap relief from Stack + the 2 million to make him a real expiring contract, and also get two good young players in Barea and Bass. Let’s do it!

2 problems
It doesn’t work under the CBA rules and George has the ability to block a trade (just like last year). Here’s a trade that’s similar to your proposal. Udrih+Salmons+Douby for Stack+Bass+Barea+Williams.

You can also take out Barea and Douby and the trade still works.

Man ...
No way … You are trading the only valuable assets we have for a aging center and a wing that is good but not that good? … If you want to trade Howard to the Kings, you better add Hawes and Donte Greene to the mix.

VC to the Jazz
would be fun to watch. Sloan would either kill him or make him play hard every night. Probably the former.

This is the only thing I could come up with to get Salmons and Miller in Dallas.

That link worked out great. Trade is Salmons and Miller for Stackhouse, Green, Singleton, Williams, George, and Wright.

RealGM
link. RealGM displays a Trade ID number and it links to the specific trade in question. Maybe I should add a primer to the main post.
Anyway, 6 for 2 trade is not a good idea since it requires Sactown in this case to release players, while Dallas will be short. Of course the Kings could always release Stack and then the Mavs could re-sign him (assuming he keeps his mouth shut) after the CBA specified time period (I think it’s 30 days or something like that).

This popped into my head a couple hours ago.
Brad Miller and Josh Howard had an altercation in the preseason last season. Don’t know how those two would act if they were on the same team.
I have witnessed time and time again.

Howard, Stackhouse, and Singleton for Salmons, Miller, Udrih, and their first round pick.
