DWade Douchebaggery

Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade today was fired from his endorsement contract with a chain of charter schools originally named after him and catering to high school dropouts.

Wade, 27, didn’t fulfill his obligations to the D. Wade’s Schools, said Mavericks in Education CEO Mark Thimmig. Those included appearances in TV commercials.

“We need to move on; the dropout rate is at epidemic levels,” Thimmig said. “This contract made Dwyane Wade the biggest celebrity committed to turning around the national dropout crisis.

“He was supposed to participate in marketing campaigns and public appearances, but he has not been engaged.”

Wade received an undisclosed number of shares in the schools when he signed on.

Thimmig said he’ll go on the hunt for another celebrity pitchman, “one with strong family values.”

"Daryl (Morey, the Rockets general manager) and I were talking this morning. We both discussed how great Tracy is in the playoffs. There's very few people who have the ability to step up their games in the playoffs and he does. So we're not looking to run away from Tracy." - Houston Rockets Owner, Leslie Alexander

Oh, I meant to add this in my morning roundup

Mark Jackson calling Wade one of the 15 best NBA players of all time during yesterdays Mavs game was one of the dumbest things I have ever heard on TV.

Sersiouly

If he suffered a career ending injury tomorrow he wouldn’t even make the hall of fame. It was so absurd, and nobody called him on it!

Those three all drink from the same Kool-Aid, that's why

Did you enjoy them comparing Dirk’s and Pau’s release? Because, you know, that wasn’t annoying at all.

There was an article a few weeks back...

by Rosen comparing Dirk and Pau, saying that Dirk didn’t have Pau’s inside game and Pau was slightly behind on Dirk’s outside touch. Overall he called it a wash with a slight nod to Gasol. Disgusting.

that is the dumbest

shit i have ever heard… i wish Rosen a slow painful death caused by dwades aids… that pisses me off

The more I hear Mark Jackson speak, the less I like him. He is the biggest Lakers fan in the world. ANY oppurtunity he has to talk up the Fakers, he will jump on it like flies to horsesh!t.

Ok I loathe D-Wade too

but us sitting around and grumbling about it just makes us look like losers.

Until Dirk shuts the critics up with a championship or a 60-70 point game at least, we’re gonna hear these absurd comparisons and Laker slurping constantly. I don’t like it either, but it is what it is.

I agree, fuck dwade

But that won’t change the fact that people are gonna keep hating on Dirk/the Mavs until they shut them up on the court.

I think DWade is the free agent we need to be going after in 2 years..

He is exactly what the mavs are missing out on. A guy that’s going to get to the basket on a consistent basis and get to the free throw line. You can hate the guy for whatever reason you want but this is who we really need to bring in.

Agreed

most people will let the hate die the first time he drops 40 on someone in a Mavs uni
