Avery Johnson and the 76ers

So yesterday afternoon rumors started popping up that Avery Johnson was the leading head coach candidate in Philly. It makes sense. I think Avery Johnson would be great hire for a .500 team looking to solidify a place in the top half of their conference. (that's a compliment -- mostly)

And then this morning I read this.

As for Avery Johnson, the source said the former Mavericks coach apparently doesn't think he should have to interview like the other candidates. That makes it unlikely that he will talk to Stefanski about the job.

Made me laugh for some reason.
