Think about signing Rafer Alston?

ESPN Upate:Magic will dump Alston to keep Turkoglu?

Will the Magic have to decide between Hedo Turkoglu and Rafer Alston? If so, Alston may have to pack his bags.

The Magic seem to be set on signing Turkoglu. They said today that they would be willing to go over the luxury tax to sign him, the Orlando Sentinel reports. But that might mean they will have to trade Alston and his $5.25 million contract.

Turkoglu said he wants to stay in Orlando, but he will likely ask for at least $10 million, if not much more. Lon Babby, his agent, also serves Ray Allen, and Allen made $18 million this year. Turkoglu made $7 million.

Also, backup center Marcin Gortat will likely want a raise, since he is currently making the minimum. With Jameer Nelson in place as the starter, it looks like Alston is on the way out, the Los Angeles Times writes.
