Spurs pick up Jefferson

Breaking news...

The Milwaukee Bucks agreed to trade Richard Jefferson to the San Antonio Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto a Bucks source told ESPN.com. The two teams have agreed to the deal in principle. A trade call to make the deal official is coming later Tuesday.

The Spurs really got another scoring threat and help when Manu breaks his toe and didn't give up a whole lot. Trying to think of a word to express my opinion on this trade, but all I can come up with is..

Crap, I was happy Bowen would be gone

He isn’t much of offense but he is pretty damn annoying on defense, so they keep him and get Jefferson, well right now I’m not very excited but hopefully in a few days ( and some nice improvements) I’ll be happy again.

but now it just feels like we’ve been lapped again by the Spurs. They’ve been to highs and lows this past decade but have 4 championships to show for. All we have to show for is ’06

I never thought that so many good things could happen after 30 years of age. Boy was I wrong! I’ve been able to be part of a great city and community.
