Excellent pick
and I love your justification for it.
Signature! I don't need no stinking signature!!
In the BE mock draft I played the Mavs, but there wasn't much available anymore
I was looking for someone to replace Wright or at least get more athletic. I tried to trade up with NY for DeRozan or Indiana for Gerald Henderson or Williams but didn’t get far (guess nobody liked to save a lot of money for Stack and not have a pick today).
I ultimately had to go with Casspi to get more athletic and get a guy who is very aggressive in transition yet can also hit from outside to back up Josh (or if we have to move Josh for someone else). My alternative would have been Ellington as the best pure shooter, but he is a bad defender and not athletic at all.
I think that’s what the Mavs need to address. But they might also pick Collison or whoever drops as a PG backup if Kidd moves. Though I guess they can address that by taking Raymond Felton if all else fails.

(Trading went on all weekend)
I think that was the only choice
left out of all the guys the Mavs were thinking about. Still a very good pick though.
Question though: do you draft Lawson if he’s still there? Daye? Teague? James Johnson? Even Eric Maynor?
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.
I LOVE THE PICK
Terrance Williams isn’t only the BAA but also fills a need as well, he was basically Louisville’s PG/SG, he can rebound, get assists now and can work on his shot, I might shed a tear if we get him somehow on Thursday
