Marie....WTF?

Wallace still could remain in Detroit, but he has expressed a desire to finish his career with a legitimate contender in the East. He would help either Boston or Orlando counter Cleveland's addition of Shaquille O'Neal.

Bass, 24, came into the league with New Orleans as a second-round draft pick. Although still unheralded as a backup last season to Dirk Nowitzki, he is considered a good rebounder who would provide Dwight Howard with more help around the basket.

Leave our Seabass be!

They can't get him unless the use their MLE

and they probably will use it on Sheed, so Bass will be back
And does anyone take in consideration if Kidd signs for half as much as he did last year we can sign Bass w/ some of that money instead of using the MLE

Half!?!

Signing J-Kidd for half of what he earned is around $12 Mil.! Too much, he needs to be signed at 7-8 Mil.

Mavs shouldn't be offering Bass a large chunk of their MLE

no matter what.

They need to get a deal with him as early as possible, but probably shouldn’t go beyond 3 or so million.

Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.

I definitely want our Seabass staying here!

But if he goes to Orlando, I won’t be entirely disappointed, though it won’t make up for that Carter trade.

Mavs can re-sign Bass...

Without using their MLE if he agrees to a contract worth 175% of what he made last year (~$1.5M) or the league average salary, whichever is higher…

Given the league average is probably somewhere around 4.5 or 5 million… I wouldn’t give Bass that much. I’d let him walk.
