The Mavs must start looking at Free Agency or else!

Two news articles that explain what could happen with Free Agent: Jason Kidd plans to meet with Knicks officials Wednesday morning reports the New York Daily News. The Knicks could sign Kidd to the mid-level exception or try to negotiate a sign-and-trade with Dallas.

Another one explaining how much money Brandon Bass wants:he would like to stay in Dallas, but he wants to be paid. His agent hopes to get him a first-year salary starting around $5.5M. "Brandon likes Dallas and appreciates the Mavericks," agent Tony Dutt said. "He will certainly look at that, but he will look at other options, too. I'm pretty comfortable in saying he's going to get a ton of interest."

San Antonio and Orlando could have interest in the power forward.
