On Night Thread or Mavs/Jazz GDT
The Mavs are facing the Jazz tonight, and there wasn't a thread about it on the front page, so being the ambitious person that I am, I took the initiative and made this nice little thread in which people can talk.
Remember when the Mavs won that playoff series against the Jazz? I do.
What else is there to say? We'll get to see Al Jefferson go against the guy for whom the Mavs traded instead of Jefferson, Tyson Chandler.
Should be entertaining. Don't go to SLC Dunk. They don't like you, while I tolerate you.

We kind of expect the coach to get fired
He pretty much said the players aren’t listening to him anymore tonight. And yeah, two superstars with 4 bad knees equals no championship window.
The Mavs
are the best “other” team to have, I love both the Jazz and Mavs so I’m happy either way!

I know it’s irrational, I just do. Like with D-Wade. Part of it could be the Blazers trading down when they could have had him. But no, we had Bassy Telfair. That worked out well. Today we have Luke Babbit and parts of Armon Johnson and a player stashed in Europe to show for it. Part of it is his stupid looks with bad tattoos, a bad combover and a bad beard, though when he had a twin in Boozer that aspect was even worse.
I
have lived in Utah all my life with the exception of my Mormon mission in Tucson and El Paso so the Jazz have been the team I’ve grown to love from an early age (just like the Broncos in the NFL) but after having served in Texas, I grew to love the Mavs. I liked them all right with the M cowboy hat logo but they’re just a cool team to cheer for!

But the Wolves love giving up big leads. They are bad and now Beasley, who had come up as a possible savior is sucking. Anyway, the Spurs will fall down. And I’m loving TP-gate.

what I’ve noticed is that Dirk is still being Dirk knocking down shots, he just isn’t contested or double teamed as much this year. And he’s not gassed from having to focus on D.
It's going to mean a pissed off, Dampieresque Haywood but they need to wrap TC up.
Maybe you tell Haywood, Chandler is playing out of his mind for a contract, next year the starting job is up for grabs.
all of that sounds good to me.
all it takes is one wrong fall for chandler, and haywood has an upgrade in playing time. this team isn’t gonna go back to having one decent center and a scrub backup.
