I once offered help to Philip in the fall when he ran the “contest” but never heard back. Oh well, I don’t have much time this year anyway, and it’s not like Fanposts fly by at a rapid pace so you would need to post on the front page to get noticed. I’m currently thinking about some Moneyball-ish post, since there’s not much stats content for a site with that name and Cuban’s love for it. But no timetable set.
I think the editor of Bright Side of the Sun has recently taken over as the manager of NBA blogs for SBN from Matt from Blogabull. No idea what his concept for developing blogs and fan communities is.
A commentator from Blazer’s Edge is now part of the ESPN TrueHoop team for the Blazers site. And another one appears on the local post-game show (twice so far). The Co-Editor Ben went to the Sloan Conference. And Kevin Pelton (has his own BasketballProspectus blog and book of course, but also contributes there) is now consulting for the Pacers. Last week Carroll played in the 2nd quarter in a close game. Today Nacional made 4 goals in 30 minutes after playing like shit all 2010. Now the Knicks end the streak beating us by 34 fucking points at the ACC.
