Hey guys. I think there was a post similar to this a few months ago on this site. Maybe it was on a different one, but the point is im not taking the credit for this, Im simply transferring a great thought over to this amazing site

Okay. Theres a handy button here on SBN, called the "Rec" button, short for recommend. It's so we can tell what posts are worth a read and which you should probably skip. Look, i dont want you guys to think i want Rec's. That's not the case. Actually, i rather you NOT rec my posts. I want you to Rec other's posts, so we know which are worth reading.

This way, if youre in a hurry, and only have time to read 1 post, you can say, hey look! This one has 5 Rec's! It must be worth my read!

One last time. I really am not fishing for Recs myself. Im doing this because 90% of the time im on SBN im in a hurry. And i only have time to read 1 post. And i hate when i get a kind of bad one, and realize 3 days later there was a great one! I just want to be able to tell from the Welcome screen which posts i should and shouldnt read. All im saying is, if you read a great post, and think, WOW, i enjoyed this! or WOW this stimulated my thoughts, Rec it, its just 1 click away and it gives others a chance to read this great post, in addition to joining the discussion!
