Mavericks Finalize Deals for Jones and Mahinmi

It's been a very active day for the Mavericks. In addition to their deal with Charlotte acquiring Tyson Chandler and Alexis Ajinca, the Mavericks finalized contracts for Dominique Jones and Ian Mahinmi. Ian is ready to join Dominique Jones and the rest of the summer leaguers in Vegas later this week.

Is it really that serious?
I still think Tyson Chandler is a good pickup and no matter what we won’t have Dampier on the floor suckin’ out the place. I’d call it an improvement but I guess I could be wrong.

In the last summer league game
he revealed that there is hope for his jumper. He had a couple of nice ones go down . Nothing special, but his jumper will always be a secondary option for him. Give it a few years and he might be pretty good.
