Dirk agreed to play next years EM if he's healthy (Reason: Good chance for Olympic qualification)
Still unsure if he plays this years WC in Turkey...decision expected within 10 days.

Germany would be one of the few teams lucky enough to have their best player, chances to win are higher than usual

There is no way in hell the germans win the world cup in turkey this year. And only the winner of it qualifies automatically for london 2112.
On the other hand, 2011 european championship offers multiple qualifieing spots….

of course it would still be a long shot for Germany but like I said the tournament is more open this year
and I find a bit silly that most countries seem to care only about qualifying for the next championship and never about winning one.
Only the Olympics matter I guess.
