Around SBN: The Worst Team Ever Projected?

Michael Redd

anybody know what the story with Michael Redd is?  he was once a potential all-star kinda player.  If we could get him for relatively  cheap, why not sign him? There is probably someone here with some more insight about him, so please share.  I am pretty sure he is a free agent, and could probably be a good help to a team, but I haven't heard anyone mention him at all.  certainly better than nothing.

MICHAEL REDD NOT A F/A

PLUS HE’S NOT GOING TO PLAYING UNTIL FEB 2011

Aside from the caps,

I do believe he is under contract until the 2011 year. Not a bad idea however. He could be a solid SG off the bench. If anyone remembers, he has the prettiest shot in the league. I know it’s irrelevant. All that matters is if it goes in, but this guys shot is perfect textbook.

Thats your random comment of the day, thank you for playing!

Redd is not a free agent, is extremely overpaid and hasn’t played basketball in a long time. The Bucks would give him away for nothing if they could.

No

Seriously, NO.

What kinda contracts would that be? We’d need to dump expiring on their asses PLUS picks ‘cus the Bucks have a plan for that cap space and don’t need to let Redd go. Anyway he won’t be able to even practice until Feb so why?

Anybody that honestly follows the NBA should know this is a dumb idea (and I really like(d) Redd before he became gimp).

The bucks probably would

I read an article that Micheal Redd had to have knee surgery. I’ve been trying to find that article again so I can post it.

I could see the Bucks trading Redd

But I don’t think we have the right pieces to get it done and still make the team better. To make salaries match, we’d have to at least trade Chandler or Butler, both of whom would produce more for the team than Redd. The only other option would be Terry-Stevenson-Barea-Ajinca (when he can be traded with other players), but even then the Bucks would want picks and/or money to make the trade palatable.

I have him on my 2K10 Mavs team

It’s not working out so well.

Before you ask why I'm a fan of both the Cowboys and Jets, I'll just say the answer is complicated and that it just turned out that way.
