A Couple Roddy Links

So far this was what I could find on Rodrigue Beaubois' ankle injury (that wasn't completely repetitive). He broke the 5th metatarsal in his left foot. Basically, worst-case scenario involves Roddy missing 3 months after requiring surgery. Anything less than that would be ideal so that he could start the season with the team.

Roddy isn't the only player to do it...

and they wanted him to get more experience playing PG. one of the articles even said if Parker had played, they wouldn’t have let Roddy go and would have kept him in Dallas to play and get better. you always risk injury no matter where you play… nothing selfish about it.

Yeah she's right

It’s not like there’s anything that prohibits them from playing in the worlds, lots of people do it. It’s a risk sure, but what would happen if the NBA prohibited players from playing internationally? Don’t forget ‘bout that pretty lil’ gold medal the USA picked up at the last olympics…

Yeah

If anything, the guy needs to be out there playing against quality/structured competition. I know I’ve said this alot, but the kid’s played one year in the NBA. Sure the early results have been awesome, but let’s let the kid get some more experience and prove more before anointing him. At the end of the day, I still think letting him play in the World’s was probably a good idea.

it's not like he injured himself in a game

he didn’t even play one…
and a few weeks ago he was already “risking injury” in truly meaningless games in the Summer League

you can injure yourself anywhere, ask Przybilla
