Cuban is the most pro-player owner in the NBA. He doesn't own the Mavs to make a profit. He owns them to be part of the NBA. Most if not all of his income comes from his media and entertainment businesses.
Yes Cuban is a owner but IMO he is the most pro-player owner in the NBA.
So while he is involved in the negotiations as an owner, IMO his sentiment lies with the players

Just because he comes off as one of those guys that doesn't care about the money and would do anything to help his franchise
