Jeff Foster as a possible backup PF/C?
The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Mavs are planning to pursue the 6'11" defensive grinder who has spent his entire career playing for the Pacers and a few of those years under Rick Carlisle.
Foster, who turns 35 in January, averaged 3.3 points and 6.3 rebounds with the Pacers last season.
I think this would be a great pick up on our part in acquiring a hard-nosed defensive minded big that could help in the likely departure of Tyson Chandler by playing behind Dirk or grabbing some rebounds at center.
What are your thoughts fellow Moneyballaz?

dang, i would think Aaron Gray is a better sub for haywood. not to mention hes younger.
but i like Foster. hes classic and tough in the paint for rebounds.
I like the idea of having him on the Mavs
looks like a great guy and determined to give his best on the court
i agree
someone who is reliable and would do what is asked of him, and nothing more
dirk, quit being single and marry me
