where other teams think crap we cant double Dirk or he’ll burn us. I’m with you, VC isn’t that guy. It’s like Donnie and the boys are thinking, lets start getting some promising young guys on the bench then make a splash w/ once famous players to placate the fan base into thinking we still have a shot at the title. I see a huge clash between Dirk and VC in the future. Dirk hates that selfish play and laziness and usually expresses it on the court (Damp?). I’m surprised at how many their opinions there are out there that have VC being an exact replacement for tuffjuice.

He’s overrated, old, and I doubt he’ll contribute anything to the team. I watched him during his time with the Magic, since that is my home team, and he was less than impressive. He can’t be relied on to hit big shots or to even have a solid performance, and he is slow on defense. He’s a joke.

Perhaps he can prove me wrong, but I highly doubt it. And since it is a multi-year deal, it looks like we are stuck with him for a while.
