WHO: The Dallas Mavericks host the Golden State Warriors

WHAT: Maybe a chance for a win? Who knows these days.

WHEN: 6:30pm, CT

WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX

HOW: League Pass | FSSW-DAL | CSN-BA | KESN | KNBR

THE STORY: Really hoping we have Shawn Marion for this game... after a disappointing home loss to the Spurs, the Mavericks need to gain some momentum, and quickly. After tonight's game, they have one more at home before embarking on a six-game road trip. Better to go marching headlong into the playoffs than to stumble in backwards. Dallas beat the Warriors on their court last week, so at least they know what they're up against. The usual links follow the jump, and please maintain a Golden State of Mind- we need to think positive :)

Warriors-Mavericks Preview - NBA - Yahoo! Sports
With less than a month until the playoffs, the Dallas Mavericks are admittedly out of sync, a feeling that could worsen depending on the health of Shawn Marion. Coming off a tough loss that left Marion with an injured wrist, the Mavericks will try to regain some momentum when they host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday with a chance to clinch a postseason berth.

Warriors-Mavericks preview — Mavs look for 3rd W over high-octane Warriors
The Mavericks learned plenty from their showdown with the Golden State Warriors this past Wednesday night. Most of all the Dallas team learned not to overlook the upstart Warriors crew, after the Mavs quickly found themselves in an 18-point hole in the first quarter.

Slow starts dogging, haunting Mavs - Dallas Mavericks Blog - ESPN Dallas
Slow starts are again plaguing the Dallas Mavericks for reasons that aren't exactly comprehensible at this late stage of the season. The Mavs explained away a 32-14 deficit at Golden State Warriors on Wednesday as coming the night after a physical affair in the loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. But, Friday's 26-12 deficit at home to the San Antonio Spurs was more difficult to explain away.

Can the Mavericks win nine of the last 13? | Dallas Mavericks Blog
The Mavericks have a lucky 13 games to go before the playoffs, six at home and seven on the road. Six of those road games come in one fail swoop, if you'll pardon the expression. The Mavericks cannot afford to fail on that long trip that starts next weekend.
