Nick Calathes vs. Regal FC Barcelona, G2
Panathinaikos Athens bounced back from Tuesday’s loss with a 75-71 win over Regal FC Barcelona on game-two of the EuroLeague’s quarterfinals this Thursday, March the 25th.
Dallas Mavericks’ Nick Calathes started and logged 25:24 of playing time. Calathes scored eight points on 3-of-6 shooting, grabbed two boards and turned the ball over twice.
Barça led by 10 at the half and was relatively in control but got overwhelmed in the second-half, getting outscored 47-33 after intermission. Dimitris Diamantidis, the front-runner for the league-s MVP, scored 15 second-half points and dished five second-half assists. PAO also hit seven three-pointers to fuel that run.
The series resumes with game-three next Tuesday, March the 29th, in Athens.
